First, anyone else notice this isn't being talked about very much lately? New info has been coming out, but it's kinda below the radar it seems.
Anyway, word now is that the payments from this company to Bush's family came in the form of cash many times, starting during the championship season of 2004. Now that my friends is a HUGE deal if it goes back that far. They are claiming $300,000 in total payments to the Bush family, totally seperate from the trips they paid for and the house.
Word also was that Reggie personally sat in a meeting before this all broke with the company trying to come to a resolution on how to pay these people back. So yes, he knew about all of it and was trying to get these people happy so they would go away. At least that's the way it seems to me.
Again, Reggie can't be punished much for this, but wow is USC in some real big trouble if these are the facts. Now we're talking about maybe having to give up their 2004 BCS title.| Promote this thread! |           |
