I've been sort of curious about this- What will happen to Scott Steiner's body in the next 30 years as he retires and ages?

The human body is not meant to support the kind of muscle mass he has packed on (not to mention the side-effects of the alleged steroids themselves).

I mean; here we have a guy who used to be quite a good and mobile wrestler as part of a great tag team, who over the course of the last 15 years or so has totaly changed his physique in an extreme way in an attempt to give himself "the look". That might've helped his career to a degree in the short-term but was it worth the long-term effects on his body and heart?

I'm sure he knows the health risks of what he's done to himself (or at least some of them) but still... his decision seems pretty short-sighted on his part.

What are the long term effects of roid use of a guy like Batista? Or Vince Mcmahon or Hogan or the thousands upon thousands of wrestlers that roided up? Why is this thread about Scott Steiner specifically?

Sure; we can apply my question to anyone and if you want to talk about others who have (allegedly) used and abused steroids, feel free.

I'm only singling Scott Steiner out because he was the first person that came to mind, and the most extreme example of it.

I can't think of anyone who's changed their body to the level he has in such a short period of time.

I made be proven wrong if the W ever presents 'the 30', but I'm pretty sure Scott Steiner will not be alive in 30 years. That would put him in his late 70s, and since most human males who *do not* abuse their bodies live until their early 70s, I'm going to gamble and say he'll come up a little short.

I don't know - guys can keep muscle mass on even in later stages of life, whether it was steriod-induced or not. Chances are that his muscle tissue will break down and gradually shrink, which will make him even freakier than he currenly looks.

Scott's promos are almost always entertaining- albeiet not in the way he intends them to be.

wrestlingnewsworld.com picked a rumor up somewhere that the ROCK is in Ft. Lauderdale and might make an appearance on RAW tonight. If so this could be the beginning of his build up to a WM 21 match.
