Is anyone else getting sick of seeing the same old looking WWF wrestler, the "White Guy With Long Hair"? I swear I can't even tell who's who sometimes cause all these guys look the same; Edge, Test, RVD, etc. Are all these guys still totally living in the 80s and listening to Poison and Winger or what?
Grow up and cut your hair, WWF.
Do you want me to get naked and start the revolution? -Jack Black
No way. Long hair covers up bald spots better (look at HHH) especially if you do a Randy Savage style pullback.
I have to disagree about the Mullet vs. the Fade. I think a fade has a certain retro coolness to it that a Mullet just doesn't. Also, middle-aged black guys can look cool with a fade, but middle-aged white guys can not look cool with a mullet.
"Excuse me, do you have any EuroDisney T-Shirts?" January 2nd, 2002. Paris, France. My proudest moment.
Reply to MoeGates: "Also, middle-aged black guys can look cool with a fade, but middle-aged white guys can not look cool with a mullet" Exactly!, "Middle-aged" being the key word. Not guys in thier early to late 20's. The only excuse you can have for sportin a fade these days is if your in the military (your choices of hairstyles is kinda limited)
Back to the topic at hand. Im, sure each guy had so called "Nice Hair" at some point in time. But what ever they did to maintain it, it aint workin. If your goin bald cut it all off or get implants. The comb-over looks stupid and letting it grow long and pulling it back in a pony tail only works if your not wrestling. Did you ever see Savage after a match, especialy in the later WCW days. Im not gonna even touch Hogan.
Taker, Gunn, DDP, Show, all steped into the millenium w/ thier fresh do's. (count Booker in this club too. the twists are comin in nicely) Now if somebody will talk to X-pac theyll be on to somthin. You cant wrestle w/ a bandana for ever.
Now I must end this nonsense. Thanks to my girl, she gots me lookin at wrestlers damn HAIR. Although she says percentage wise the girls hair is alot worse. Ya know for girls standards.
Short hairs that shoulda stayed longhairs... Undertaker Mike Awsome Stevie Richards
Actually, and I don't think most of you wouldl ike to see this, I think the Undertaker will wind up having added at least a year or so to his career by cutting his hair. I can't really explain why, I just like the new look...
"A lot of guys on this team have a lot of bark, but no bite. Guys have to just shut up and play." -- WR Keyshawn Johnson, following the playoff loss to Philadelphia
Wondering if anyone out there has come across a comprehensive year-in-review type feature, column or webpage yet? Just trying to put together a faux year in review for Inside The Ropes and looking for a good point of reference.
