Amy Adams.

Very surprising. The obvious gut-reaction is, "Wait, she's a redhead! Don't they mean Lana Lang?" Nope. Plus Amy Adams is several years older than Henry Cavill. The most important thing is Adams is a very talented Oscar-nominated actress. In fact, Amy Adams has more Oscar nominations and acting awards than every other actor who has played Lois Lane combined. All very interesting.

I have no problem with this. She's got range, and she almost stole 'Doubt' from Streep and Hoffmann.

She can do the plucky reporter thing, and she's cute but not ridcuously supermodel hot. Lois is more about personality than looks probably more than any other female lead in a superhero movie.

I stand by Orquiola's thought that Erica Durance and Tom Welling should've just been "promoted" to playing grown-up Lois and Clark for the new Superman movie. Nothing against Amy Adams, obviously...she's a damn sight better fit for the role than Kate Bosworth. The age gap between she and Cavill, however, makes me realize that she's about the same age as the ideal Superman, Jon Hamm.

No. I think they are both fine actors, but the stink of Smallville needs to stay far away if this has a chance of being good.

I can live with this. She is a much better choice than some of the other actresses rumored to be in the running. Can't be worse than Bosworth.

She also has the alliterative name that goes well with being Lois Lane.

See Noel Neill.

Too late. Check out who plays Jodi Meville in the Smallville season one episode "Craving"

PWN3D!

Amy Adams is pretty good, fuck this hair colour nonsense. You can dye red hair black easier than you can make an untalented brunette a good actress.

Still think Tom/Erica should've gotten them but not worried about Amy.

I just watched that movie a few weeks ago on AMC. Great, great movie. It was a lot more complicated in terms of its "social commentary" than I ever expected.
