I thought I'd start this prediction thread for the 'most dangerous wrestling event of the year', as TNA puts it. I've not really been following TNA for the last six weeks but I'll give it a shot anyway:

Team Angle to beat Team Cage

I thinking possibly a double pin from the likes of Angle and Joe, leading to a 3 way for the belt at Sacrafice. Failing that, I can see a Sting vs Cage match on the way.

Team 3D to beat Team LAX

LAX have had those belts for some months, and surely this match is the last in the feud between these two teams?

Sabin to win the Xdivison X Title Xscape match

I'm not really too Xcited by this match, but it would be Xcellent if they stopped using so many Xs.

Chris Harris to beat James Storm in the terribly gimmicked blindfold match

I wonder if Jake the Snake will be watching this one? Why didn't they bring him in as the special guest BLINDFOLDED REFEREE!?

The Fallen Angel to beat Jerry Lynn

Surely The Fallen Angel's new image deserves the push, right?

Williams over Roade

Petey Williams deserves to be in the thick of the X Title scene.

Kim to beat Jackie

Starr over Senshi

VKM to beat Chrissy Hemme's team (maybe the Bashams?)

It'd probably look exceedingly goofy in execution, but I could see them having all five members of Team Angle pin all five members of Team Christian to set up a six-man match, with the weaselly champion having to faced a stacked deck. And I don't think that'd be such a bad idea.

To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

Team Angle beats Team Cage, duh. The only question is who gets the pin, and my preference would be for them to get any notion Jarrett is getting the title back out of their systems. Hence, JJ pins a B-team guy (Tomko, maybe?) and then gets a big taste of his own medicine when he challenges Christian next month, leading to Joe taking the title in King of the Mountain at Slammiversary.

Team 3D has to win here. It's probably their last shot to give them the NWA tag titles, as we're counting down the days to Bryan Danielson's return to wrestling (which is when the NWA will probably pull out), and 3D has been utterly dominated in the feud, losing to LAX at every single TNA PPV this year so far.

I'm torn on the Xscape match. It's a good opportunity to transition the title to another heel without the current heel champion actually losing, but the question is, do they really want to do that? Even though I'll be cheering for one guy in particular (Shelley), I'm pretty sure Sabin is going to keep it, if not so we can get at least one match with Backlund in the deal.

James Storm beats Chris Harris. Everyone keeps pointing to the Jake/Martel match as the template for this, but people, it's the start of the feud, not the end of it. Even Russo is smart enough to realize that you don't kick off a blood feud with the babyface winning. Ref gets bumped, Storm sneaks a peek, rollup with tights for Storm to win.

Christopher Daniels beats Jerry Lynn. It was obvious from the beginning that Lynn was merely here to put people over, and Daniels is the next project (despite him not needing it, really). Anyways, the feud with Sting is just around the corner and it would look real dumb if Daniels was jobbing leading into it.

*sighs*. This is where I go against every instinct I have and pick Roode to beat Petey. It's a bit too soon for Eric Young to turn outright on Roode, and Petey's been nothing but a job boy for everybody since going face. It's a fate he doesn't deserve, but for one more show, I can't give him what he deserves, in large part because...

Gail is going to beat Jackie. It's sort of tied to Storm/Harris, but there's no way Jackie's going to get one-up on Gail again when Storm has to beat Harris for storyline reasons.

OK, time for Austin Starr to get one-up on Senshi. I really don't get Russo's booking for this situation - the idea is that Starr should be frustrating Backlund, not the other way around, but whatever. Senshi beating Starr three PPVs in a row would really neuter whatever heat Starr's got left, and we still need a justification for Starr & Backlund to go one-on-one.

If Christy's team is the Bashams, they win; if it's anyone else, VKM wins. Still feel that the face/heel alignment in this feud should be inverted.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

So who turns on their team tonight? I'd be okay to see Samoa Joe go nuts on them, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were Jarrett either.

If anyone turns, it'll be Abyss. I don't see anyone turning, though.

Okay, I have about four minutes to do this, so:

Lethal Lockdown Match
Team Angle over Team Cage -- Angle gets the pin

NWA Tag Team Titles
Team 3D wins, no question. 3D goes heel, LAX goes face, and we start the feud over again.

TNA Comedy Division Title
Black Machismo, because he's the "funniest."

Daniels beats Lynn.

Senshi beats Starr. Starr "moves on" to Bob Backlund.

(I'd like to see Daniels get involved with Sting, which will lead to Lynn being on the same side as Sting -- this brings out AJ Styles to challenge Lynn. Senshi gets mixed up in this, and we have another three way ladder match between Lynn, Styles, and Senshi to celebrate TNA's 5-year anniversary.)

Robert Roode beats Petey Williams after Eric Young tuns on Petey

Storm beats Harris -- T-Kel is right: even though it feels like it's been going on forever, this is the first actual match of this feud.

Gail Kim beats Jackie Moore

VKM beats Christy Hemme's Mystery Team -- most boring possible option is Serotonin. Worst option is the Harris Brothers. So it'll be one of those two. Outside chance: Kronik.

What the hell. I'll give it a shot

Team Angle vs Team Cage
Team Angle wins with Angle getting the pin.

Team 3D vs Team LAX
Team LAX get's the win and moves on.

X Title Xscape match
Jay Lethal gets the win.

Chris Harris vs James Storm: Blindfold match
double DQ when they both lose the blindfold's and just brawl.

The Fallen Angel vs Jerry Lynn
The Fallen Angel wins, in hopefully a long match.

Petey Williams vs Bobby Roade
Bobby Roade wins with some cheating.

Gail Kim vs Miss Jackie
Gail Kim get the win.

Austin Starr vs Senshi
Starr for no reason.

VKM vs Chrissy Hemme's team
Chrissy Hemme's team, but the real winner is Russo because I think he's the only one who understands this.
