Here are my spoilers from the Show. Knowing how much people at the W' hate it when people throw in dumb, useless information like "My cousin Bill called Brock a faggot and he looked mad at us!" and skip on who won and the like, so I tried to report the facts and what I saw without too much of my own opinions. It's actually long, but it seemed brief writing up, now it's time for bed. Adios and have fun seeing what's going to happen.

Just got back from the show, here are some brief notes and spoilers:

Dark matches:

Horshu vs Elix Skipper: Pretty good match, except they blew Elix's ropewalk rana pretty bad. Horshu threw a nice fallaway slam. Horshu wins with a powerslam variation.

Jamie Noble and Sean O'Haire vs Jobbers: Good pop for the odd pairing of O'Haire nad Noble, O'Haire came in when he wasn't legal and gave a Jobber the Widowmaker leaving him wide open for Noble's chokehold submission.

Velocity:

Paul London and Spanky vs Jobbers: London and Spanky with some unique double teams. Long heat period on London before he hot tags Spanky and after some highspots they win it with the kick-assisted Flat-Liner.

New Velocity commentator: Bill Demott!

Tajiri w/ "Yakuza" vs Shannon Moore, Non Title: Moore dodges the handspring and a buzzsaw kick but falls victim to a thrust kick and then Tajri's second attempt at the buzzssaw kick. The "Yakuza" interfered during the match as well.

Orlando Jordan vs Kanyon: Kanyon gets several near falls but Jordan wins with his neckbreaker variation, which seemed pointless since a similar move from Kanyon about 30 sec. before only got a 2 count.

Kidman vs Rhyno: Kidman uses his speed, Rhyno uses his power. Rhyno blocks the SSP and military presses Kidman, goes for the Gore but Kidman dodges and Rhyno hits post. Rhyno recovers to hit a Spinebuster then the Gore to get the victory.

Smackdown: Show starts with Vince nearly bursting a blood vessel telling Heyman to destroy Taker, but Taker has the night off so Vince orders Heyman within 15 minutes to have him killed, his house burned down, wife raped, etc. or Heyman is fired.

First Match: Benoit and Angle vs Cena and A-Train. In Cena's rap he calls A-Train a wookie pissing him off then telling him its cool cause the ladies like it. The gist of this rap is that Benoit and Angle are gay lovers and want Cena's "Halloweenie". Last line: I wish I was a bubble so you both could blow me. As for the match, Benoit and Angle got along. They dominated Cena, then A-Train comes in and works of Angle. Benoit comes in with a German on Train and eventually misses the headbutt, leading to everyone hitting a finisher sequence with Train bicycle kicking Benoit, Angle hitting the Angle Slam on Train and Cena F-Uing Angle. Benoit gets rid of Cena, hits the rolling Germans on A-Train, cuts the throat and then for a markout moment--BENOIT WINS CLEAN WITH THE HEADBUTT! Can't remeber the last time that happened in the WWE. Post match Cena seems to start his face turn when a shoving match between him and Train turns into him kicking Train right in the crotch and F-Uing him.

After the match we see Torrie coming out of the shower in full makeup deciding what to wear for her Trick-or-Treat contest aganist Dawn. Then, Angle invites Benoit to be the first member of Angle's team for Survivor Series, after a short mutual appreciaton and rivalry chat Benoit accepts and tells Angle he's not his friend to which Angle says he doesn't need friends, just to win.

Match number 2: 3v2 Handicap tag match: FBI vs WGTT. As per Heyman's orders this match must take place: this seems like WGTT will turn full fledged faces under Heyman's oppresive rule. They worked like Faces in this, which featured lots of FBI cheating, fake tags, and double teaming. Nunzio covered Shelton with his jacket and threw some punches early on--later in the match Nunzio went for punches in the corner on Haas who reversed to a powerbomb position for the Doomsday Device like manuever with Shelton wrapping the jacket around his arm.

Heyman then tells Vince that Vince used to show no fear and will quit if the old firey Vince doesnt return. Brock and Show have some words then Heyman comes out to the ring with two men in tow: Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan. He says Jones learned the error of his ways in trusting Taker and is back on the right path and pimps Morgan saying he is unstoppable with both and has unfinished business with Brock. Brock comes out and brings Show for back up not to get jumped, Heyman informs Brock that he knows he hates him, but in Business, Heyman is the master and he brought Morgan and Jones as gifts to join Brock's SurSer team. So we have Brock's team as Big Show, Brock, Jones and Morgan and Angle's team as Angle and Benoit so far.

Also in that segment Heyman reveals that the APA think Brock and Show are the worst World and US champs and challenged them and that's the mainevent.

Somewhere around this time they showed two video packages: The Hardcore Holly one, and one for The Cat who is coming to Smackdown apparently.

Match number 3: Rey Mysterio vs Ultimo Dragon with Tajiri and "Yakuza" doing commentary. Sadly, this match was nowhere near their old WCW matches. Not a single highspot to remeber. End came when Tajiri got on the apron and hit Rey with a buzzsaw kick leading to an Ultimo pin, afterwards Tajiri and his allies have a stare down with Ultimo.

Then the Trick or Treat thing with Dawn vs Torrie. Funaki hosts in an afro and dressed like a 70's pimp. Torrie comes down as a bunnie, Dawn as Wonder Woman--complete with Lasso. They first do the posedown with Torrie winning, then round 2 is bobbing for apples in a tub of chocolate. Torrie comes in first and tries to go down to bob, but Dawn pushes her aside to go first. She takes her boots off and gets in the tub and smears the chocolate all over her and takes off her top. her whole chest and body was covered with chocolate and from the look of it when it started to drip off she really was topless with no tape or anything. Tazz comes in and says that was the treat, and since Funaki doesn't know American holidays Torrie should show Funaki a trick. Of course everyone assumes Funaki will go into the chocolate, but Torrie pushes Tazz in, completely covering his suit in the goo.

Also around this time Brock confronted Cena and let him know that Heyman is letting him most likely be the 5th member, Cena really didn't seem to care--once again hinting he might be turning Face.

Next Chavo compares Eddie to a loser, to the drugged out drunk Eddie and demands an apology. Eddie comes to a huge pop and continous Eddie chants and gives a GREAT fired up promo about how he lost twice, and how he feels down but his Dad told him that it isn't what you do on top that makes you great, it's what you do when your down that does, he goes from being somber and sad to fireing himself up and apolgizing and pledging to do great again. Incredible promo I can't do justice for.

Enter Shanquia who Eddie says should fear his Latino Heat. Bashams run in from the crowd, attack Eddie who fights both and Shanquia off, but when going for a frog splash one of the Bashams throws him outside and they regroup to throw him into the steps. Finally then, Chavo comes out to help Eddie and lead him away. Chavo didn't come till after the beatdown and wouldn't help Eddie attack the Bashams anymore, furthering his gradual heal turn. This leads into,

Match number 4: Bashams vs Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. Scotty hits the worm and Rikishi hits the Stinkface. Bashams switch out after the worm, but Rikishi leg drops the fresh one leaving Scotty to get rolled up for the pin.

Eddie is being worked on backstage when Heyman comes in and Eddie demands a title shot next week aganist the Bashams. Heyman says that he must prove himself, Eddie says the Guerreros have, but Heyman says its a new ballgame and they need to prove themselves again to the new GM and books a match next week with Eddie aganist the Bashams and if Guerrero wins he gets the shot at SurSer. Eddie is excited and knows him and Chavo can win before Heyman corrects Eddie and says its 2 on 1 aganist him.

Next, we see Angle on his cell phone. Josh asks him if he is worried about Brock's team and Angle says he's not, that he just got off the phone with Hardcore Holly who joined Angle's side. He then says his final two members are right off camera, and it cuts to Wippleman and Brooklyn Brawler. Angle corrects the camera man who then switches to the APA. This leads us to the main event,

Match number 5: APA vs Brock and Show. Farrooq and Bradshaw brawl at first to dominate the match, then Show and Brock come back, but a Clothesline from Hell on Big Show gets a 2 count and a pissed off Brock grabs a chair and smacks Farrooq in the back and pastes Bradshaw with it. Big Show his the chokeslam on Farrooq, Lesnar hits Farrooq in the leg with the chair multiple times and then lays the chair on Farrooq's injured leg and Big Show hits a leg drop off the second rope onto the chair. At this point Angle and Benoit run in, Big Show gets Angle Slammed and Ankle Locked, Brock gets German Suplexed and Crossfaced, only for Morgan and Jones to run in and Big Boot the faces. Morgan then hits a nice sitout powerbomb on Angle and Jones hits what is best described as a release Doctor Bomb on Benoit. The heels pose to end the show.

Matt Morgan and Nathan Jones get PPV slots? Oh fuck that noise.

First, thanks for the report.

Brock, Show, Morgan, Jones, Cena is a bad ass looking team by the sounds of it. Not the most technically soud or skilled team, but definitely intimidating. And on the other end we'll have Angle, Benoit, Hardcore Holly, and the APA? It just doesn't seem even to me. I'm excited to see Morgan. I didn't catch much of him when he was on Tough Enough but i've heard some good things about him since.

The show as a whole looks alright. Maybe they could have 2 FBI members, Tajiri and his Yakuza vs. Ultimo, Rey, WGTT, and Kidman (maybe?) in another SurSer match that would definitely make me drool.

And I look forward to that Eddie promo as well.

Thanks once again for the report.

Good....push Tajiri a little more good.

And it sounds like Ultimo may get a push? maybe?

Matt Morgan whatever..better than A-train on PPV cause im not tired of seeing him yet...but Nathan Jones? I thought he died?

Paul London's Smackdown debut a few weeks back is really coming together! *sigh*

Spanky/V1 needed badly

But overall sounds like decent show...WGTT is good...Benoit headbutt win is good....Funaki in afro ! WORD LIFE! We need a new smackdown love twist...Some heel please save Dawn.

Torrie Wilson : You so totally killed my dad
Dawn : Hehe my bad
Torrie Wilson : It's cool he was kinda a perv anyway
Dawn : Yea it was really annoying when he always wanted me to....
Torrie Wilson : Wanna get beat bye Linda Miles?
Dawn : No let Nidia do that..she has blind ninja power now
Torrie : Word life...lets go rub chocolate on your boobs
Dawn : Word life

I wouldn't count on seeing Cena with the heels, just yet at least. His punking out A-Train, blowing off Brock, and the possible leg injury to Faarooq might leave Cena as a guy Angle and Brock both scout, which could be intersting. Of course if Cena goes with Angle, I'm sure A-Train will take his place making probably the biggest 5 man team in WWF/WWE history.

Wow, I hope Paul London asks for a release and goes back to doing bigger Indy spots and making more money than he is now. Even the most hopeful of people, like me, are starting to realize that they're not going to even give him a chance. Hey Vince, Fuck You.

NATHAN JONES is actually back?! What is this? They couldn't just cut their losses with him? Jim Cornette wouldn't even put him on OVW Television while he was there!

And MATT MORGAN?! Don't they watch their own developmental? Morgan's shown a lot of potential but it's incredibly green, one to two years away potential. They run the risk of exposing him early and making him just another hoss.

The Eddy/Chavo stuff sounds good. It's distressing that this is the direction they've chosen with Eddy but he'll continue to deliver in whatever he does.

Nathan Jones: I'm'a give him one more shot to show he's not a total loss. I think he's still got some decent potential... who knows, some people just take longer to click.

Matt Morgan: Maybe if they have someone knock him out early? Besides, they could hold him out of actual matches until the PPV, and keep his involvement short. Other ways to build people up than have 'em wrestle. Let's hope they don't screw this up.

Uh, when'd he debut? Like, maybe a month ago? Give him time, already. -_- It's not like a whole hell of a lot of people have seen him. Besides, thatdude, his big SD debut? Getting killed dead by Brock. How soon we forget. -_- (Besides, he's not even really from Hartford. )

Leg injury to Faarooq? Hunh. Who's gonna kneecap Bradshaw? And agreed, that team's gonna be frickin' intimidating. As for the faces: Angle, Benoit, and Cena: Holly in a PPV main event: At least they've sort of got a speed/technicians vs. power thing going. And thanks for sparing us the commentary. Good to see Skipper back, even if it's a dark match. I take it DeMott's taking Tazz's place? Not too thrilled to lose Josh y Tazz, but we'll see how it works out.

Wow...the Smackdown end of things is really gonna blow, isn't it?

Nathan Jones? Matt Morgan? Big Slug? Baldcore Holly? The APA? THIS is supposed to be the main event of the Smackdown end of things? Oh wait, that's actually supposed to be 'Taker and VINCE!

Though I can't deliver a verdict on Morgan yet, I can say that this kid is FAR from ready for such a high-profile match. What are they thinking?

A John Cena face-turn is A-OK with me. If they build him up now, we've got a heavy favorite to win January's Royal Rumble.

Looked like Jordan was doing the siakalypse on velocity, which would be funny on a certain level...

Yeah, Microme such burial to pick up a win. How terrible of Vince to even dare team him with someone from the same training school.

seems like a whole bunch of apparent turns...dare i say SHOCKING SWERVE?

So no super highspots from Rey/Ultimo eh, that's probably a good thing about now...no kill you till you die from the jr. moves of death etc.

Funaki as Huggy Bear?!!!!1!!

so first Johhny, now team HOSS...I take it Vince and JR have gone back to the old standby. you sure that was a doctorbomb or just his usual toss you across the ring gutwrench?

So much for a WWE title defense either...unless they pull a fast one.

Rikishi, APA, Nathan Jones, and S2H back on SD, w/ Holly returning and The Cat coming back as an active wrestler? Wow, they're just sucking all the fun out of SD. I'll hold off judgment on Morgan, but I'm not holding my breath.

Meanwhile, Kanyon is jobbing to Orlando Jordan on Velocity. Blah.

Velocity looks good, as does SD up to the last 2 matches (I like the Bashams, but not against Rikishi/Scotty). Not sure I like the choices of people getting pushes, though.

If anyone predicted even 2 months ago that Mark Henry, Nathan Jones and Bob Holly would have prominent positions at Survivor Series, would anyone else think that the senility had finally eaten away the last of Vince's brain cells? Throw in 2 of the matches being McMahon matches, and you really have to think it has.
And, if Eddy is being elevated (insert joke here), wouldn't it make sense for him to be on the team facing Brock Lesnar, so perhaps he would get a fall on him in the Survivor Series match, thus looking like a credible challenger in the future?

Oh great, no halloween party this year. Well, thank god I still have last year's show, when things were actually more optimistic. Sounds pretty iffy with a few good segments.

Nathan Jones ... wtf? ... I'm not gonna pass judgement on Matt Morgan until I see him compete ... but here's an idea, why not use Rhyno for Christsakes? ... he'd be an awesome fit on the heel team ... oh well, guess I can use him properly on Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain ...

Umm...sounds like a solid action packed Smackdown considering all the BS that led into the PPV. ANYWAY Nathan Jones?!? Ok out of nowhere he's back...creepy. Matt Morgan?!? Umm...I haven't heard of this guy I'll be interested to see if he's any good.

Is this Matt Morgan the guy from TE2 (or was it 3) that was big and got a leg injury early on and had to leave, and during the try-outs JR kept commenting they liked him but he was old (like 24 or something) and if he was gonna learn, he had to learn NOW?

Hmmm...

Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan get a PPV main event slot despite the fans really not knowing who they are. Hardcore Holly gets a PPV main event slot despite being gone for a year and beforehand being a glorified jobber. Bradshaw and Big Show get a PPV main event slot despite always failing in previous main event pushes. Faarooq gets a PPV main event slot despite being nothing more than "that other guy in the APA".

I'm starting to think Vince might have a thing for big guys, or something.

Oh well. If they're used to put over Benoit as the next title contender, I'm not complaining. However, if that's NOT the case, then, well...
