| #1 Posted on 16.2.02 1706.21 | Quick question: I have tickets to Raw on Monday, and I may have to be a little late from what the ticket says the starting time is. Do they tape the syndicated shows before Raw goes on so I won't miss the good stuff? I was at a Smackdown! in December, and I know they did Heat beforehand, but I wasn't sure about how they do Raw. Thanks!

However, a got to tell you, these are sometimes the best parts of the show.

| #5 Posted on 16.2.02 1936.07 | Another word to the wise. Security at WWF events is pretty much the same as other sports' venues. SO, if you can, get there a healthy time before the show starts.
When we went to SD!, we must have waited a good 30-45 minutes in line once we got there, because the building didn't have an adequate number of gates open.

| #6 Posted on 17.2.02 0204.25 | Instant Rating: 5.01 | Having only gone to one live RAW, I think the starting time on the ticket is actually the starting time for the live show. But I don't know for a fact.
Before that, they generally do dark matches and also tape for Sunday Night Heat. A typical match would be something like APA vs. a couple of former WCW jobbers. (I think in my case, it was APA vs. Palumbo and O'Haire).
There's also a very good chance you might see Brock Lesnar, the really huge mo-fo that everyone's talking about. When last I saw him, he really wasn't all that good though, I don't know what everyone else sees in him that I don't.

They tape Heat Tuesday's at the same time as Smackdown.

| #8 Posted on 17.2.02 1228.14 | I'm surprised no one has mentioned this aspect of it yet. You say you don't want to miss the "good stuff" ... by that I'm assuming you mean Raw itself? Wherever it is, Raw goes out live to the East Coast at 9pm. So as long as you get there before 9pm EST, you'll see Raw -- "the good stuff."

| #9 Posted on 17.2.02 1647.21 | Yes, by "the good stuff" I did mean Raw, but I wasn't trying to take anyhting away from the other stuff. I just meant the suff that I bought the ticket for. I went to Smackdown! in December and saw some pretty good dark matches and a UK only Heat taping since it was the week before a PPV. Unfortunately, I'll have to miss a bit of that stuff, but I really don't have a choice in the matter. And the tickets say 6:30 pm, and Raw starts at 8:00 here, so I'm guessing I won't miss any of that. I should be in my seat by a little after 7:00.
