| #23 Posted on 13.10.02 1847.17 | After watching most of Heat tonight, I'll say this:
Lita's actually getting better.
She's by no means the best commentator in the WWE, but she was much better than last week, and seemed 100x more confident tonight than she did last week.
Still, she needs some work, and she's still probably not the best person for the job at this point.
(Best out of context line(s) of the night so far:
Raven: Cheap three dollar whores...
Lita: What?
Couldn't resist...)

Vikings (0-4) - Bye weeks are boring (round 2) Badgers (5-1) - Congrats to Penn State. Time to rethink our defense. Twins (1-1) - The team looked like hell. Hopefully we can steal one in Cali. Buffy 7.3 earns a 8.04 Out of 10 for being the funny, but throwing out enough plot contrivances to last us the whole damn season. Anya however = Hillarious. | tomvejada

Also, Raven cut a pretty good promo on Heat. I wonder what the master plan to "expose the hypocrisy of WWE" is.

He's going to play secret video that proves he's been held back for refusing to cut his hair.
I am curious about what will actually happen, though. It would be nice to see Raven feud with HHH. That's a PPV I'd even buy. They could even easily work around Raven's ban from Raw. Just have him piss off HHH at a PPV and HHH finagles Raven's return to RAW so as to avoid lowering himself to appearing on Heat. | Spiraling_Shape

But she DID remember that he was a WCW Tag Champ with Sean O`Hare, which you know the Coach wouldn`t have pointed out.

Also, Lita mentioned she has never seen Raven smile. I thought Raven smiled during Austin Appreciation Night.

As did probably 96% of the fanbase.
Only caught the part of Heat that was the Raw replay... God, at least throw SOMETHING in between the recaps to break it up a LITTLE.

| #30 Posted on 14.10.02 0005.47 | Whenever I hear Lita speak, I'm reminded the promo between her and Chyna. It was something to the extent of: "Um, Chyna, you're like, cool and stuff, and, um, it'd be like, and honor to, you know, challenge you for the Women's Championship." "Lita, your butt's going to be so sore after I spank it!"
BTW, wasn't Credible's last win on Heat (ever maybe?) his debut match against Grandmaster Sexay over a year and a half ago? | Fuzzy Logic

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that was inadvertently funny as hell.
Me (watching from the confines of my couch): Uh, he's talking about YOU, you silly wench!
Meanwhile, across town as he's watching, my boyfriend's response to that was: "like the one sitting at the announce table".
Interesting point to ponder though folks. It's already been announced that Lita will be hosting RAW from The World next Monday night. Meaning that she WON'T be present for that night's Heat taping.
Should we start guessing now who'll be sitting next to Coach on the 27th? I'm inclined to give the nod to Al Snow, but I could be wrong.

TRIVIA: What was the last match Credible won on Heat?
Not counting a short Hardcore title reign, Justin's last singles victory came on September 22, 2001, (in the main event, no less) when he pinned Crash with a cross-body rollover. Of course, that wasn't Heat, that was Jakked/Metal.
So we must go back farther. He beat Scotty 2 Hotty on August 4 (a Saturday), and before that he beat K-Kwik on July 21 (a Saturday). So his last win on Heat was July 1, 2001, when he pinned K-Kwik after a Superkick. Is that his finisher?
In terms of storyline at that time, that night on Heat Bradshaw & Faarooq (the WWF tag team champs) were beaten up in a run-in (during an interview) by the the WCW Tag Team champions, Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo. One week later, Justin would find himself in the ring beside his fellow ECW friends as they announced the ECW/WCW alliance.

That would affect the Heat that would normally have been taped tonight. So if she's hosting Raw next week, she won't be at the Heat the week after the PPV. | | Pages: Prev 1 2
