I'm curious to find out if that is indeed the case. While Matt is a much more logical choice based on his history and athleticism, it's possible that Kane was supposed to be in to begin with. He's been in a TLC before, his limitations can be hid with five other guys and he'll take his fair share of punishment, and after pinning Snitsky* five or six times, he fits the same bill as everyone else in the match of people with nothing to do. Maybe Matt wasn't going to be brought back to TV until after Mania. Either way, it's a shame he's not in it, because since he, Christian, and Edge are all far superior workers now than they were in 2001, it would've made for about the most talented sixsome you can get.
* no Snitsky OR Heidenreich match at WM! these things have a way of working themselves out. no Hassan match either, but what he's doing instead will be plenty high profile. | Mayhem

Earlier rumors had Edge & Christian facing Benoit & Jericho, and Matt facing Kane in a match over Lita, or in a 3-way also involving Snitsky. I like the exclusion of Lita & Snitsky, but not having Matt on the card is pretty sad.

But really, regardless of Matt not being on TV and, ahem, other circumstances, he's also just coming off knee rehab and a 6-way ladder match probably wouldn't be the most prudent thing in the world for him at the moment anyway.

So a picture from 03/10 has hit the 'net. It's of Matt & Lita hanging out at some show together. Now, I don't know about you guys, but if my chick was cheating on me with one of my best friends, the last thing I'd wanna do is hang out with her. But that's just me.
And notice that Edge has been getting a TON more heat the last couple of weeks. Smells like a possible work to me.

Eh. I've been there and done that with a long-time girlfriend. Such an event was a chance to prove I was "above" them by showing that I wouldn't let the hurt they gave me affect my long history with them, while also hoping to prove to the girl that she's in the wrong for being with that jerk.
Looking back, I can't say that it was even close to a good idea. Nor do I blame anyone for having the reaction you did, Mayhem. Still, when I heard about this, I didn't think much of it. | meandmyshadow

I've read many things from many places over time. (unfortunately most are no longer around) This is the impression I was left with.
Nancy & Kevin had a marriage much like Elizabeth & Randy. He was controlling. She was young when she married Sullivan. Benoit was married with a son and baby on the way. The marriage wasn't a happy one but Benoit was in it for his children. But his career ultimately came first.
During the angle Benoit and Nancy became good friends. He convinced her that she didn't have to live the way she was. Nancy took a break from WCW (Sullivan was gone at this time as well) and during that time decided to divorce Sullivan. She left wrestling completely however maintained her friendship with Benoit.
During this Beniot's wife had their second child. The marriage continued to fall apart (speculation that his wife couldn't handle him being in the business and gone so much). During the breakdown of Benoit's marriage, Nancy was there for Chris as he had been for her when she left Kevin.
After both marriages were over, Chris and Nancy grew closer and become more then friends. They eventually had their son Daniel and got married.
Of course, no one will likely really know the whole story since no one is talking. And then again, the people I talked to may have no clue as to what they were talking about. But that's the impression I was left with. | mercer
