(CNN) -- Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, member of hip-hop R&B group TLC, was killed in a car accident Thursday in Honduras, her record label reported early Friday.
Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him? A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?" www.Gordie.ca Promote this thread!

AIM: # 3 Posted on 26.4.02 1015.35 This seems to be a bad month for celebrities. I wonder how many more will pass away before May rolls around? "Have you seen the yellow sign?"

Celebrity deaths always come in threes. Most likely it will be a musician on drugs involved in a horse-related accident. --Jason Baldwin Writer of Stuff About Comic Books

Well, if it doesn't have to be limited to April only, and can include anything that's happened in the past thirty days, it's already happened. Randy Castillo, who played drums for various artists (including Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue) passed away on March 26 after battling cancer. While his "celebrity" status may be in question, there was never a question about his musicianship. Seriously. All you need to get a second chance with someone is to torch their house. Or just date Andre Rison. It all works out. On a semi-related note, I just read that the lady who created Barbie, Ruth Handler, died in LA today at the age of 85. I dunno if that counts as #3 though. Let me tell you something, pendejo...

She was cool. but one thing bugs me. as soon as it happened VH1 and MTV put on TLC lovefests all weekend long. As mentioned in the Layne Staley thread, there was barely anything on either channel about AIC. Seems a little unbalanced to me. "My parents said I could be anything, so I became an ASSHOLE!"

Remember how the singer from Blind Melon died a few weeks later, and no-one gave a fuck? Admittedly, it's not quite the same thing, but a life's a life. Hey baby. Welcome to Dumpsville. Population: YOU. Yes, it's a monkey. What's it to ya?

I'm a little skeptical, because Rick Rubin's been working with some bands that you wouldn't necessarily picture him with, and not always with the best results. Rick Rubin's collaboration with Linkin Park was disastrous, in my opinion.
