Ok, seriously, there has to be some kind of blackmail involved here, right? Millen's record since taking over the team is 24-72! And there isn't even the silver lining of a 1st overall pick, since the Lions went and beat the Cowboys last Sunday.
I thought the kicker would have been Joey Harrington coming back to Detroit and burning the Lions on their home field on Thanksgiving Day. But I guess even that isn't enough reason to turf Millen.
Is this like a "Brewster's Millions" situation, where William Clay Ford gets a big chunk of change if he can bankrupt the Lions? Because that's the only way this makes sense.
