The grabbed both Kenoy Kennedy and Marcus Pollard today. Good pickups for them. Pollard is a legit receiving threat, and Kennedy can be a monster in the secondary. I wish he'd stop with the illegal hits though. Being a strong tackling safety is one thing, but endangering people's lives and physical health is another.
The Lions are putting themselves in place to be serious contenders this year in the NFC North. With the Vikes not having Moss & the up-in-the-air status of the Packers (Favre's question of retirement; the OL situation), Detroit could sneak right in there.
Hopefully Charles Rogers can stay healthy this year, otherwise he could very well go down in history as a statistic in the "NFL Draft Busts" category.
I won't lie that I had a few scares here and there, but I didn't REALLY think the Ravens would drop one at home to the Browns. Next week should be a breeze. I mean, there's no way New Orleans drops two straight at home, right?
