The grabbed both Kenoy Kennedy and Marcus Pollard today. Good pickups for them. Pollard is a legit receiving threat, and Kennedy can be a monster in the secondary. I wish he'd stop with the illegal hits though. Being a strong tackling safety is one thing, but endangering people's lives and physical health is another.

The Lions are putting themselves in place to be serious contenders this year in the NFC North. With the Vikes not having Moss & the up-in-the-air status of the Packers (Favre's question of retirement; the OL situation), Detroit could sneak right in there.

Hopefully Charles Rogers can stay healthy this year, otherwise he could very well go down in history as a statistic in the "NFL Draft Busts" category.

That is a very interesting point about the Giants. If the NFC East remains this close down to the wire, there might be some finger pointing over the 'road' game come the end of the season. As for the NFC South, I'd say yes, they're that strong.
