| #1 Posted on 2.1.02 2140.02 | Is [link] [/link] something that you would like to see added to the HTML replacement code? I could set it up to either just put the whole url as a clickable link, or have it have a generic "Click Here" as the link name...
What do you guys think?

| #3 Posted on 2.1.02 2212.11 | Instant Rating: 0.00 | A few hours ago I had a whole rant typed up about the original HTML programmers being the first up against the wall when the revolution comes, but I thought better of it and hit that blessed "back" button.
Typing up the whole "a href= ..." crap is a little excessive. Count this as a vote for the square brackets.

| #4 Posted on 3.1.02 0019.51 | I think its fine the way it is. If someone doesnt know how to write one correctly, they shouldnt be linking anyway. We'd get a lot less "Come to my awesome cool fantasy wrestling is gay site!!!11" type stuff.

I personally don't mind writing out the whole "a href" stuff myself, but EZ Board has gotten me used to using the HTML replacement code when I'm on message boards now ... Besides, isn't it [url] [/url]?

I'm NOT a linker but the idea of a "click here" is cool.
I only know that I can change; everything else just stays the same. |

| #7 Posted on 3.1.02 2005.20 | I agree. It isn't that hard to write the code for a link.
Then again Guru, if you want to flex your programming muscle and ad it, go right ahead.

| #9 Posted on 4.1.02 0400.38 | One more vote for [link][/link] in some form. Yes, I can write HTML as well as the next guy; I shouldn't have to. Plus, this way the non-technical among us can play too. It's only fair.
