– Todd Bridges (TV’s Different Strokes & Everybody Hates Chris)
– Butterbean (boxer & fighter)
– Dustin Diamond (Saved by the Bell)
– Erin Murphy (Tabitha from TV’s Bewitched)
– Frank Stallone (Sylvester Stallone’s brother)
– Tiffany (80s pop star)
– Nikkie Ziering (former Playboy model)
– Trishelle (Real World)

Well, THIS looks like a great lineup, although I'll always have a spot in my heart for Nikki Ziering for making "American Wedding" watchable.

I have a feeling if Trishelle shows ANY talent, she'll be scooped up by WWE and used with The Miz.

Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"

Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"

Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

What's weird is of that list, I probably could have guessed 3 of them if I sat down for a half hour to think (Diamond, Butterbean, Trishelle), and probably another 3 would have made me mad for not thinking of them (Bridges, Random Playboy, Stallone).

Of the list, I believe Screech, Danny and Rodman all have some level of previous grappling experience.

Screech has done stuff in Memphis.

Danny famously fought Peter Brady on a WCW show.

Rodman we all know about.

Edit: And Butterbean, of course. Ask Bart Gunn.

No I'm pretty sure that was on some celebrity boxing special FOX broadcasted a long time back.

That's possible, but I'm talking about a wrestling match that took place in Chicago before a WCW years ago (like 92 or 93).

That long ago eh? Had no idea they actually wrestled.

WTF? Rodman main evented Bash at the Beach two years in a row! That hardly seems fair.

Frank Stallone did provide the theme song for Starrcade '85. This provides justification for the long awaited rematch for the National Title between 'Nature Boy' Buddy Landell and Terry Taylor.

I must admit that I like the idea of seeing Tiffany fighting. That's about it, though. Some of these are barely celebrities.

So, is this going to be worked, or shoot? The former seems pointless, and the latter completely unworkable....

Bonadouce beat Barry Williams (Greg, not Peter) at celebrity boxing.

I'm semi-looking forward to this. When is it going to air? I hope they are not going to try to throw this into a Prime time slot during the fall. This show will be better placed during summer or winter hiatus.

I'll probably watch. I would be down with watching Todd Bridges practicing a promo just to watch a guest appearance by Gary Coleman...."Whatcha talking about Willis".

We can all hope that Danny Bonaduce legitimately beats the living shit out of Dustin Diamond.

Hardly new to the grappling game for the most part of the line-up then.

When the UK did a similar show with Rowdy Roddy Piper as host and Joe Legend and D-Lo Brown as trainers, it didn't really do too well due to the badly timed slots they used on Saturday nights.

Bonaduce has some style of karate black belt. (Yes, I watched Breaking Bonaduce, & he legit does have some skills.) I'd love to see him lose it & shoot on either Screech or Rodman. Train wreck just waiting to happen!

Zoom!

Eh, I'll watch it, I'm sure. I like to think I'm above this kind of entertainment, but then I found myself sucked into the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" marathon over the weekend.

I was flipping back and forth between this and Raw. A couple of thoughts on what I saw. I loved Jay Lethal booking what looked to be a Wrestlemania III house card. I'm glad someone else got the Superman reference.
