Bradley Cooper's first movie as the solo headlining star made some money this weekend and came in at #1 at the box office, but I thought it kind of sucked. A pretty good first act and interesting premise gets squandered, but what irritated me the most is I never liked Cooper's character, didn't agree with almost anything he did, and didn't want him or anyone else in the movie to succeed. There are a lot more interesting possibilities from the premise that Limitless could have explored than what it actually did.
And interesting development in the HBO's stand alone streaming service. HBO CTO resigns as platform for standalone streaming service scrapped (arstechnica.com) I'm starting to wonder what kind of impacts this could have on the MLB.
