I didn't think a new thread was warranted, but has anyone caught Worst Week? I had missed the pilot, but watched the next three last night, and laughed out loud quite a bit. I don't know if it will have much, if any, staying power, though. The third and fourth show lagged a bit, and once you get the sense of dread that everything this guy does will turn to crap, the gags are pretty well telegraphed. Not to say they're not kinda funny though, if you're easily amused (as I am). The lead, Kyle Bornheimer, is dopey, but Kurtwood Smith, playing his fiance's father, is really funny with the facial expressions and delivery. Again, its pretty contrived, but not horrible and good for some simple laughs, IMO.
In Chicago, the local UPN dropped the UPN logo the day the merger was announced, and they've had a MY bug for a month and half. WGN is locally a WB station; they're obviously not going to change names, but they've been incessently running ads for CN.
