This is (relatively I guess) tongue in cheek about the lifecycle of a newsstory that starts on the blog. It is quite funny and, naturally, pokes a stick in the eye of everybody here.
"Each time I've met Huffington, I wondered if she was not somehow the long-lost daughter of Madame Nicolai Ceaucescu, or a genetic cross between Martha Stewart and Count Dracula. Had this Greek-born harpy lived in medieval times, she would have been sewn up in a bag with a rooster and two snakes and thrown into the nearest river." -- Eric Margolis, Toronto Star
I was going to post the very same story but saw little point in it, because anyone who doesn't want to face up to the patently obvious truth could just bleat their usual "LOOK, IT'S FROM THE GUARDIAN! THEY'RE EVIL LEFTY LIARS!" bull.
