I gotta say the card looks pretty good:

Triple H versus Kevin Nash for the World Title

I'm betting Hunter puts in the effort here to make this watchable. There might be a "Holy Shit" moment and it might fail miserably. If Foley isn't the special ref I'm predicting a long night for the Clique. Regardless of the ref, I bet Flair gets involved somehow.

Christian versus Booker T for the IC Title

Oh who the fuck knows? You'd think Booker would go over in his home town, but with the announcers hyping that fact you gotta wonder if The E will keep up it's long tradition of fucking with the home town boy. Beating Booker in Houston could get Christian's heat back. (Or get him some heat, depending on how you want to look at it.)

RVD / Kane versus Los Frenchos for the World Tag Titles

Hopefully it won't be long. If Stone Cold keeps on riding Kane next week, he could snap in the match and kill one of the Frenchies for the win. Or he could lose it all and snap on Raw the next night.

Shawn Michaels versus Ric Fucking Flair

With Hunter keeping his title and Randy's first serious singles match, I bet Michaels wins it to prevent the Evolution sweep.

Chris Jericho versus Bill Goldberg

Bill with the spear and jack hammer. Hopefully Jericho will give Bill his best match since DDP.

Randy Orton versus the Hurricane

Should be good but a little sloppy. Randy's got to win his first serious match back.

Test versus Scott Steiner for Stacy

Yeah, I don't care either.

Steve Austin versus Eric Bischoff in a Sports Entertainment Special Attraction Skit

Stone Cold, duh.

I gotta agree. If you told me last month that a Raw-only PPV would look better than a combined Raw-Smackdown one (Judgment Day), I would have laughed.
But Goldberg vs Jericho will be very good (Jericho has proved he can make pretty much anyone look good, and I have nothing against Goldberg) and you can count on Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair to deliver the goods. Booker-Christian will likely be good and has the potential to be great (gawd, I'm starting to sound like JR here -- ``Hurricane and Randy Orton has the potential to be a real barn-burner.'')
The iffy matches -- RVD and Kane vs La Resistance, and Steiner vs Test -- at least have some backstory to them, which WWE fails to do half the time. I probably won't like the Redneck Triathalon but its as good a time as any to catch a bathroom break.
And as for the HITC match; yeah, it will probably suck. But even the Undertaker-Brock match, which I thought would be horrible, turned out quite well. If they can stick to a nice little brawl, that's about as good as gonna get from these two. And you already know HHH is going over, so at least that's not a factor.
I know I'm watching this one. Has to be better than the last two.

Yeah, but Brock is much better at carrying people then Triple H is. Just look at his match with Big Show last month. This will be just a huge brawl, but Nash has no gas left in his tank, so I have a feeling that the match will just die a slow and painful death.

But, overall, the card doesn't look too bad. And I'm totally marking out over the Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels match. I just long for the days when you were guaranteed a **** main event to all WWF PPV's. But, what are you gonna' do? *sigh*

Things like Hurricane vs Orton is what makes me excited about the PPV split. Not necessarily because this particular match will be great or anything but it should be decent. I'm happy of the possibilities it brings for the future, especially SmackDown!. They can have a good 10+ minute cruiser title match, some good tag team action, etc. and still have plenty of time for the McMahon/Hogan show.

Also, I have a feeling that Flair and HBK are going to "through caution to the win" and wrestle their match like it's both their last. At least I hope so because that would be great.

Here's hoping for a good PPV!

Ok, I make the Helmsley jokes just as much as the rest of you, but this is just retarded. How can you say a guy who's been around for just a few years can carry someone to a better match then someone who's been doing this for so much longer.

Just cause you don't personally like a guy doesn't mean he can't work a decent match. Look back a few months ago to the HBK matches he had.

Did they announce that there will be a Orton/Hurricane match? I don't remember hearing it.

They will probably also add a women's match. I guess Jazz vs. Ivory since Ivory pinned her last week.

It wasn't meant as a Helmsly joke. It's just that, from what I've seen over the past year, it seems that Brock can carry less-talented workers better than Hunter. Just my opinion. I wasn't trying to rip on Triple H in the least.

Um, what does time have to do with anything? Hulk Hogan's been wrestling for decades. Does that mean he can carry people better than Kurt Angle?

The fact that I don't like Triple H has no bearing here. And, yes, he did have a few good matches with HBK. So what? King Kong Bundy had a few good matches with HBK as well. What does it prove?

I know I rip into Hunter a lot. And I know it might piss some off. But, please, read a little more carefully before you try to rip into me next time.

Hurricane / Randy Orton has not been officially announced for the PPV. I'm assuming they will announce the match next week since they are obviously pairing the two of them up. The only thing that would prevent it, I would think, is if Randy isn't ready to work a singles match yet.

Let's talk about sex.

What?

OK, let's talk about Bad Blood then.

Get ready folks, forget Austin-Hart, we are going to see the greatest double-turn in wrestling history at Bad Blood.

I am talking about Steiner v Test of course.

I'm there.

I have to point out somthing to OMEGA, Big Show has some talent and Kevin Nash no longer does. Brock has had a good start to his career but he hasn't really carried anybody, Undertaker has always pulled out some good stuff in big matches(Hardy ladder match). Big Show has had good matches with alot of people, like the one with Booker T last summer. HHH's workrate is better than HHHaters would like to admit, but asking him to carry Nash(2003) is wrong. If you take Angle, Rey, Benoit or Latino Heat and ask them to carry Nash in a wrestling match IMHO it could not be done. The only match that he can have is a blood fest of a brawl, and hopefully that's what HITC will be.

Now to the point of the thread:
Trips Vs. Nash- Winner HHH

Christian Vs. Booker T- Winner Booker T

Flair Vs. HBK- Winner Flair

Kane & RVD Vs. French 2K3- Winner French 2K3

Steiner Vs. Test- Winner Test

Golberg Vs. Y2j- Winner Goldberg

Hurricane Vs. Orton- Winner Hurricane

Austin Vs. Bisch- Winner Bisch

Jazz Vs. Whoever- Winner Jazz

I agree with you on most if your predictions, but I don't think Orton will lose to the Hurricane. It's Orton's return to PPV and he needs the win more than the Hurricane does.

Trips Vs. Nash- HHH wins and moves onto a feud with Goldberg.

Christian Vs. Booker T- Christian cheats to win. Rematch next month, or Booker moves onto feud with Jericho.

Flair Vs. HBK- HBK wins in IMO the math of the night.

Kane & RVD Vs. La Restance- Winner La Restance, because Kane will leave RVD hanging.

Steiner Vs. Test- Test wins with Stacy turning on Steiner

Golberg Vs. Y2j- Goldberg wins unless they want this to go for a couple monthes than Jericho wins with a lot of cheating.
Hurricane Vs. Orton- Randy Orton wins cleanly

Austin Vs. Bisch- Austin

Jazz Vs. Whoever- I'm thinking a six woman match featuring all the woman, ever way I think Jaz will hold it until Lita's ready or maybe they'll give it to Trish so she can feud with that new woman coming in.

I think this will be an alright PPV providing Nash and HHH worl their asses off. As for the special guest ref, I think it's Foley or Bradshaw, and Billy Gunn as an outside choice.

Jazz vs.... A woman! maybe several of them!: Oh who cares?, I was just starting to get back into the womans division and then they started flinging matches together willy nilly with no real direction, and Jackie came back. Teddy interferes. Jazz wins.

Stone Cold vs Bischoff: A veritable rollercoaster ride of unpredictable thrills no doubt. Or maybe not. Austin wins. Bischoff maintains his hilarious ppv vomitting streak.

Orton vs Hurricane?: Would seem silly to job Orton out so soon after coming back. Hopefully he goes over.

Goldberg vs Jericho: Goldberg.

Kane & RVD vs La resistance: The impish little amrk in me thinks RVD and Kane go over and they forget all about the tension with Kane. In this case I think its wrong. Frenchies have it.

Steiner vs Test: With these 2 guys fine examples of the male species fighting over her, Stacey wins surely?

Flair vs HBK: Should be good entertainment if not great wrestling. I'll take a long shot and go for Flair.

Christian vs Booker: Booker T wins. Hometown spin-a-roonie follows.

HHH vs Kevin Nash: Nash aint much worse than Steiner and HHH managed to get a decent match out of Steiner at the second time of asking so this hopefully will be all right. The added edge of the special ref plus the cell should make it a pretty good brawl in any case. Oh, Trips wins. I smile.

Actually looks like a pretty strong card there, and there aint even rrom for Rodney Mack who had been on a dece3nt push. But then given that the next Dudley in line for him would be D-von that would just end up being all sorts of confusing with regards hows the white boy.

For a match containing JoJo, replicant E.V.A & Cameron, it wasn't the worst match in the history of wrestling. So it exceeded my expectations.
