Matt Fact: He doesn't know how to roll under ring ropes
George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.
Originally posted by BigDaddyLocoJeff Hardy has taken some great bumps in this feud, but that's about the only positive to come out of this. I'd really like to see Jeff Hardy spend his last few years having odd ball "Dream Matches". Matt Hardy is pretty washed up. Whoever shot that clip is awful.
I take this back. I have surprised myself and spent a lot of time thinking about this video, and I've checked out the "Director's Cut" Click Here (youtu.be) and if TNA decides to go this direction I want to be on board. This video has gotten better every time I've watched it. I'm really into them walking from Matt's house to the place where it all began. Whoever shot this clip is amazing
I believe Jeremy Borash is the mind behind this, according to Meltzer and Alvarez.
I think what makes it work for me is the self-deprecating nature of the humour. Rather than the usual "We are TNA and we want to be just like WWE" product, this feels more like "the ship is sinking, so let's just have a good time!"
I agree that the walk across the garden is fantastic and it's awesome to see Matt Hardy embrace a role where he isn't taking himself too seriously.
That's what I predicted two weeks ago, although I thought the order would be different. I thought Jarrett would put up control of the company first as a way to lure the MEM folks in.
