To me the whole idea of "Evolution" is putting some newer blood in the role ... that's why I feel it should be some guy in his mid to late 20's ...

The more that I think about it, the more that I like the idea that Orton isn't out of Evolution. If the goal is to have Orton be the face in his eventual feud with HHH, why not put him in a role where he is the charismatic young superstar that is being held down by HHH. If Orton can get the fans behind him, they'll really be clamoring to see Orton break from the group, confront HHH, and destroy him at WM. Of course from what I have read, ti seems the plan is for Orton to hold the title until WM then lose it to HHH, and is Orton is the face, what semse does it make having your top face lose at WM?

What about replacing the world champion with the world tag team champions?

That is an "evolution", Flair goes to be a full time manager.

Can I at least make a half hearted attempt to point out that dirt sheets are far from reliable bastions of journalism, and that bitching about stuff that hasn't happened is dumb as can be?

Any number of things could happen yet before WM. Orton could have a 'match' against HHH in which he decides not to lay down and gets the shit kicked out of him through quick Evolution interference leading to him dropping the title and taking time off to heal his 'injuries'. HHH could get the snot kicked out him by a vengeful Regal before coming back face to beat a still heel Orton. Orton could retain at WM. Orton could drop the belt to a three legged albino who goes on to face the winner of the RAW Diva Contest at WM.

If it happens, it may be bitch worthy, it may not. But can't we just please, PRETTY PLEASE, wait until it does?

Well, for a while I was pimping Sean O' Haire big time to be in Evolution, but of course that's not gonna happen now. So, I have to go with.... nobody.

Well, to be honest the dirt sheets have been write about all of SummerSlam, you can take them to school for other stuff, but they have been right lately than wrong. I think Orton is still heel and Evolution is face. At least, thats how I see it and thats how I am cheering for it.

Truthfully, I'm not sure if they'll even replace Orton, or (as many have speculated) if Orton's even out. In all honesty, I was half-expecting sort of the opposite to happen--Orton, Flair and Batista beating down HHH, the idea being that Orton did what HHH couldn't--beat Benoit. (Yes, I know that in the ironman match, HHH got a few pins here and there on Benoit, but he still hasn't come out on top against Benoit in a 1-on-1 match.)

But if they do replace Orton, maybe they'd go with Eugene. Maybe because HHH developed a grudging respect for the kid for still going out there and taking a beating like a man every time they meet up.

Be on the look out for the finger of doom!

The dreaded move that ended Kevin Nash's title reign in WCW could be on it's way back! HHH is more than capable of hitting this move on Randy at any time! If Randy is hit by the finger, than a hug will happen right after the three count, and Evolution will be right back where they were before!

Ok for my first post I figured I would go out way out to left field.... all the usual suspects have been mentioned but I would like to get an opinion on wether John Cena would come across or would it be a Survivor series run for Orton and cena?

Heres a name way way out ...Sean Waltman

Pick those jaws up its not written in stone just an idea

Sean is a friend of HHH and its a way of getting him back into the WWE without making him do much work first up to give him recognition ..he could play around with Flair in the tag-team while Batista chases the IC title and HHH continues his title run

I could definitely see that happening as well. And he's also good friends with Flair, apparently....

Same here. Last night was the first time I've cheered for HHH (and I cheered like hell)and the first time I've gotten behind Evolution.
It really felt kind of awkward and dirty, but I don't regret it.

I sure hope he isn't kept in the group. I would much rather watch his face run bomb(just like his reign will), as its the only salvaging I can get out of this whole farce. But I'd bet they will have him remain loyal..despite how much weaker of a champion it will make him look.

Consider me one who isn't jumping the gun on this entire storyline... after just TWO nights of development. It's called a slow burn for a reason... so whether they keep Randy in Evolution or dump him or turn him face or keep him heel, it sounds like there is a long way to go on this storyline.

Besides, may I point out that, just because there is a rumor that we will see Randy Orton vs. Triple H at the next WrestleMania doesn't mean we will.

X-Pac is more of D-volution. He is no longer considered the future of the sport, as he was once considered as the Lightning Kid. This would spark the group, but may point out the weakness of the Batista character.

Batista, although with X-Pac part of the group, becomes the muscle, with no personality. Lack of personality is going to mean he is always going to be in the background.

The other problem with X-Pac turning into Evolution, the group will have to live with not only "wanna-be-Horseman",but also "wanna-be-DX" or/and "wanna-be-nWo" No matter X-Pac's skills, he brings too much baggage.

The Smackdown! superstar that would get my vote is Billy Kidman, he need a group like this, but will never get it!

I'm sorta digging this. Dissension amongst Crips and his assmen. Things are going right along as planned when the respective eagle beaks (haitch and naitch) assembled this version of the 4 assmen. Weren't Bastisteriod and young Randy Orton hand selected by Crips and Eagle Beak as the "future" of 'rasslin?

Gosh, young Randy Orton, world champion. The kid makes me feel old. Excellent cross-body block, a nice dropkick and a hit with the young ladies. Kinda reminds me of the Z-Man a decade ago. What's the main difference? Oh yeah, Grandad and Ace Pops Orton were respected veterans in the business. Remember what Big Dust pointed out about the Z-Man. "Wut did Tom Zenk's daddy ever do for da bidness if you weeeel?"

Nepotism and cronyism continues on. My pick for the next member of the 4 assmen, none other than no talent, has to keep his shirt on Shane 'O Ate Too many Big Macs. Gosh, I hope I'm not giving Vinny McMano any ideas. Don't put it above him to to his no-talent bum of a fat son. Just like Gagne, Rhodes, and Watts.

Oh grand! If this Monday, Shane walks out on the entrance-ramp, hand-in-hand with Triple H, we're all blaming YOU!

Wasn't Maven pegged for being in Evolution before he got hurt and he had that death in his family? Maybe you just put him where he was planned to be before Orton got in.

I thought they planned to have Maven replace the injured Batista.

I have a hunch on who the new member of Evo will eventually become, but I'd rather not out and say it. But said wrestler is ripe for a heel turn at this point and the turn could, if it's written correctly, be pulled off without a hitch. Bear in mind, I'm guessing and working off no dirtsheet information whatsoever.

Even though it violates the given logic of Triple *H* declaring Orton (or more specifically the title) his and his alone, and that it may *BE* not necessarily within the next month or so that this happens, since there's also a matter that has to be addressed first for this person, I just want to wait it out and declare myself right or wrong a little father down the line, if that's O*K*.

Like I said, just a hunch.

The problem with Maven is that, over the past year, he has been treated like such an after-thought jobber, that it wouldn't do much for Evolution's credibility for him to be the next member.
