Not one, but TWO, TWO, TWO talk radio stations in GTA Vice City.

God, this game is going to be highly, highly addictive.

My question is... do we know for certain if Vice City is coming to the PC or not?

It was revealed in May that the exclusivity deal did NOT apply to a PC version but, just as they did with GTA3, they're holding back on any PC confirmation.

Grr...

The PC version won't come out until they sell a million-bajillion copies for PS2.

With poison running through your veins, and death marching solemnly towards you, heroic acts become more of a necessity as you see your time dwindling.

Vanquishing your enemies, making amends to those you have wronged, and leaving words of love and kindness for those around you become second nature as your own mortality looms

However, true strength lies not in these last desperate acts, but in the actions of one who has to get out of bed the next day and face the consequences of doing that which you believe is right.

Right... I'm pretty sure that GTA: VC will eventually come out for PC, but there has not been an official announcement yet.

Here's hoping that if it does come out for PC, they do a better job with it than they (according to what I've heard) did with the PC version of GTA3.

Of course, the exclusivity deal means that there's no possibility that any GTA game will come out for X-Box or GameCube until at least April of 2004 (I believe that's the right date).

So HA! PS2 haters can go and boil their bottoms, sons of a silly person! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of eldeberries!

My preorder receipt is tucked away in my wallet, so that I won't have to waste time driving home to fetch it when the "It's HERE!" call arrives.

A friend of mine is scheduling some vacation time from work, just for the purpose of playing this game.

Me? I'm tempted to buy three, in case two of them break.

(This game is going to be THE system-seller this Christmas season. As if the PS2 needed something _else_ to maintain its market dominance...)

You're not kidding! If Vice City doesn't come out for PC then I'll have to buy both a PS2 and a TV. No amount is too much for my addiction!

or you could buy a TV-tuner card instead of a TV.

But, I would like to play GTA3 and GTA Vice City, but I can't, in canuck bucks, a ps2 is just too expensive (especially when you add the middle of nowhere tax).

Quick note from somebody trying to reserve a preorder of the game WAY too late: If you want to reserve a copy from Electronics Boutique, Babbage's or Software Etc., you might be too late - every place here in town is totally out of preorders till the following week (November 4th). YMMV, but I imagine it'll be the same in most places as well.

EB's website is still taking preorders for the game to ship on the release date, but they're pretty close to selling out as well. If you want one there, shipping's only eight bucks for next day (at least for me it was) and you'll get it on the release date, but I'd hurry.

Little tiny rocks?

Try preordering at Toys R Us. They're always really good about such things, and, despite the hypocracy exhibited with "BMX XXX" discussed in another thread, they are carrying this game.

I blow my nose at you and call your door opening reqeust a silly thing.

I pre-ordered this bad boy from EB last Monday and expect it to arrive in a couple of days. I've been waiting for this since finishing GTA3.

Now depart a lot and remain gone this time, or we fire arrows at the tops of your heads and make castenetes out of your testecles already!

I never played GTA3, even though just about everybody else I know did. Vice City just might induct me into the series. Gotta love the 80's. :)

Okay, what's the weirdest item you've received in the game thus far? For me, it would have to be the Manneken Pis statue; the sea-gull gave it to me, and I nearly busted a gut once I saw the thing set up in my house.
