So LeCharles Bentley, after being on IR the last two years rehabbing his horrific knee injury, passes his physical yesterday. Then this morning he asked for and was granted his release from the team. Amazing.
From what I'm hearing in other places, it sounds like LeCharles wants to be handed a starting spot, and, in Cleveland at least, that's not going to happen. Someone will probably take a shot on him, but this may have been a bit premature as far as he's concerned.
The USC decision shows they will punish severely if they get evidence. While overall kinda meaningless, I do think it would be funny if they make Ohio State vacate the win they finally got over the SEC in their bowl game.
