|  #2 Posted on 1.5.10 0842.02 | Instant Rating: 1.30 | No surprises here; LeBron became the first forward in NBA history to average at least 8 assists a game, and not to mention he averaged over 7 boards a game and had nearly had 30 points a contest.
The Cavs won 61 games and homecourt throughout the playoffs (but only a ring for the King will suffice for this season). Anyway, LeBron's ability to take over a game is perhaps only bested by Kobe Bryant but even that is debatable.
LeBron joins 7 hall-of-famers and 2 future hall-of-famers in winning the MVP in consecutive seasons. LeBron easily won the award last season but I am curious to see how much he wins by this season. | ekedolphin

True, but as I recall correctly there are no Hall-of-Fame eligible players who've won the MVP award even once and not gotten into the Hall of Fame.

Howard, on the other hand, is an indefensible pick. No surprise that his votes all came from people literally on the Magic payroll. |
