Anyone know what his finishing move was? Either as Lanny Poffo or when he was The Genius?

I'm thinking, "Sleeper Hold." But don't quote me on that.

As Leaping Lanny, I believe it was either a moonsault or a flying headscissors. As The Genius, it was definitely a senton.

Moonsault. Hogan had a harder time with Lanny than with Savage because Lanny was a better aerialist, while Savage was more willing to go toe to toe.

The Genius was so funny. My friend and I popped in an old Saturday Night Main Event where he wrestled Hogan (the one where Perfect broke the belt) and all the non-fans loved Genius' prancing and dancing around.

Lanny Poffo was pretty good. He put on a good match with Terry Funk on Best of the WWF Vol.6. Lanny pulled out the rana and moonsault. Meanwhile, Funk is overselling everything. Very interesting match.

A friend told me Lanny Poffo shows up in the new Tony Little infomercial giving a testimonial. Is that true?

it's damn true. He looks a lot more stocky, and has short hair. But it's him... if you can stand to watch Tony Little for more than 35 seconds, maybe you'll catch Lanny on there!

When he was in Atlantic Grand Prix (around 79 or 80), Lanny used to end the matches by sprinting to the corner, running up the ropes, and throwing a cross-body block from the top, which sounds incredibly hokey, but in the Maritimes in 1979, it was like seeing an alien from outer-space come into the ring. Even the heels in the promos afterwards would be busy trying to go - how did he do that? For a while, if I remember correctly, the Cuban Assassin was claiming that he had never been pinned by Lanny, because the move was clearly impossible to execute. Bill McCullough would describe how Lanny had done it and the Cuban Assassin would just look at him and go - Now does THAT sound plausible?

I think the Genius' finishing move was the Greco-Roman "Mr. Perfect distracts the ref and Genius hits the opponent in the head with the metal scroll." Helluva move.

Remeber when midmatch with Hogan he busted the scroll out and wrote some math gibberish on it and then an equals sign down and under that wrote HULK DOWN! He was so funny.

Didn't he get blackballed/depushed/fired eventually because he was gay?

Harvard Chris's gimmick reminds me a lot of the Genius of old. I wil have no problem with Harvard if that's the role they are going to have him play.

Lanny's voice was plenty bizarre. What was with that family?

Well, WARRIOR does have a point. All people in the public eye are role models whether they believe it or not. But, he messes up bad on a couple of other points.
