Does anyone else here play this? This is my recent free game obsession. I'm trying to avoid getting caught up in any more subscription based games, so I gave this one a shot.

I'm pretty much addicted to this game now. It has the right balance of things you want to pay for, versus the ability to grind out items and characters, that I don't mind the fact that you can pay for upgrades.

My character of choice is Ashe. I also like Miss Fortune and Sivir. I can't say that I really get melee - but that's pretty much the case for me in any game. I seem to always go with ranged characters if I have a choice.

I play.

Summoner name RebelliousDink, usually go with Blitzcrank. Seems to compliment a damage carrier especially well, rock out the assists.

That being said, if you can carry me to victory, I can bodyguard for Ashe all day on the outside lanes.

If anybody is getting into the game I highly recommend the starter card, $5. Found it at Wal-Mart, but I'm sure Target has them too. The benefit is you get 5 characters and an XP and IP boost.

The only thing you need actual money for are character skins, but I've plunked a couple bucks down on some characters I thought would be neat.

If you're a beginner to RTS games or Diablo, play the beginner bots to get used to the gameplay, but once you have the controls I really recommend playing actual PVP matches; they're taken a bit more seriously, you learn the actual strategies of the game and the need for teamwork, and overall they're way more fun.

EDIT: A whole lotta stuff.

No, I don't think so. That's the point of wireless, you don't have to go from the computer or modem right to the PS2. The signal goes from the router to the WGA, and then to the PS2 via a very short cord.
