| #1 Posted on 14.9.04 0541.09 | Instant Rating: 6.18 | Wow. Maybe it's the norm to have a fast-paced, semi-decent show on with a a good soundtrack. I caught the last 45 minutes or so, and I was impressed. I did not give the show a chance at all, grouping it with Father of the Pride.
Maybe with the lower expectations, I was surprised.
Sure, there are contrived moments in the show, but for now, the pluses outweigh the minuses.
PS -- This does not mean that next week's L&O return including DENNIS FARINA~! will kick its ass... but still...

I haven't watched it, mainly becasue my expectations were also very low (as in, don't bother). I may give it a peek.

The only ones that interested me were "Father of the Pride" and "Medical Investigation." I remember "LAX" and "Hawaii" looking particularly bad.

Well, working in a hospital makes me think of something far less appealing than lacrosse. (hint, it starts with EX and ends with LAX)
