Never made a comment before but what the heck..

Going with the [Obvious]

That whole piece with RVD and Lance Storm was a great read and summed up a whole lot in a few simple paragraphs.

The whole thing seemed to be simple booking and almost cliché in its workings but just made for a great little feud, the kind of feud I’d love to see being done right now.

After I was done reading it I felt it was above pretty much everything the WWF has been doing to build a feud recently.
It's almost sad to see the talent but not the feuds and simple booking that could make them work so darn well, even in this on-the-fly day and age.

Nothing like this will be happening anytime soon in the WWF and that’s a shame but I’ll still be watching because that’s the only wrestling I’ve got to watch and hey, Mania's free here in UK so I cant complain. much.

Llakor my man, you're quickly becoming my favorite read over hear on the slash. The articles you write always bring me back to when I first starting watching WCW on Saturday mornings. You really ought to send that arm chair booking stuff to Vince. I'm sure Lance Storm would [heart] it. Keep it up!!!!

Sometimes, the best things are the classics. It's amazing that the WWF doesn't make use of this. After all, the main story of the WWF is that there's this sport called professional wrestling, and that people from all walks of life compete in it for the chance to win the biggest prize in it, the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. In any TV show or movie about a sport, real or ficticious, you at least get some idea about what the rules are.

Anyone know the rules in the WWF right now? It seems they only get brought up every once in a while when the Powers That Be (tm Vince Russo) decide to use them to screw over a babyface. Like when Test got dq'ed for using a closed fist during the initial days of the McMahon-Helmsley Era.

I was reading the column about the punch, particularly about Stan 'The Man' Stasiak's Heart Punch and thought about how awesome Tazz would be as a heel if they just played on the fact that his finisher is an illegal hold. All he would need is a manager (perhaps the mysterious Joey Numbers) to distract the ref while he choked someone out, then he could either pin his unconcious foe or toss them out of the ring for a count out. Hell, when was the last time you saw a countout?

That's why a "This is Your Life" segement draws an 8.4 while the matches get half that. How do you get involved in the "sport" aspect of "sports entertainment" when you can't figure out who's doing what and why?

Whew! Guess I needed to vent.

One of these days I'll come up with a sig that does not suck.
