Do the Astros realize they are 1 up with 1 to go, and guaranteed at worst a 1 game playoff? Why on Earth would they pitch Clemens on 3 days rest when historically Clemens gets rocked on 3 days? Tied going into the last day, maybe you do it. Down 1, you have nothing to lose. But they are 1 UP. If they win without Clemens or the Giants lose today, the Astros would have Clemens lined up for Game 1 against the Braves. Should they lose and the Giants win, they would have Clemens lined up to face the Giants on full rest. Unless Roger doesn't want to travel to San Francisco because Monday is his day to car pool the kids, this ranks up there in the pantheon of baseball stupidity.
Edit: Either someone came to their senses or Houston has dumb luck, but Clemens has been scratched due to being 'sick'.

Also technically not the franchise record. Bill Gullickson had 18 as a rookie which was the MLB record until Kerry Wood broke it with 20 in 98. But of course the Expos might as well have never had existed.
