Last night, the Seahawks beat the Vikings 48-23. Seattle was winning at the half, 45-10(!) Shaun Alexander had 5 touchdowns last night. Also, Moss dropped a lot of balls last night.

I wonder if Mike Tice's job is in jeopardy.

I'm not sure he should've gotten the job in the first place. It's a rare transition from offensive line coach to head coach in one foul swoop. I'm getting the feeling that management knew that Denny Green had to go, but that they were in for a rough year this year. Perhaps Tice got the job to keep the seat warm so they could search for a new coach after this season. Lots of guys could be looking for jobs anyway(Holmgren, etc).

I watched this game until the end of the third.

The Vikings should have had the game down to 45-31 or even
closed the way they dominated the 3rd quarter.

Moss dropped at least 2 definite TDs. Derrick Alexander dropped 2 too.

They had a 2 minute complete lapse in the second that cost them the game. They could've made it interesting if they had caught those TDs though.

Man I felt bad for Tice each time one of those was dropped. He deserves better.

The Titans and Vikings combined for about ten minutes of the worst football I've ever seen in the NFL yesterday. If you add the last five minutes of the Titans/Browns disaster, Tennessee was outscored 38-0 in a 13 minute span. That is bad.

I have no mercy for Mike Tice at all. He deserves what he gets. Randy ratio my ass, he is the one guy that could put a stop to all the Randy Moss crap and he has done nothing. I cant believe that Marvin Lewis is still a defensive coordinator while Tice and Morningwheg have jobs as head coaches.

How many of you have Shaun Alexander on the bench in your Fantasy league?

One last note, Im faxing my application to Cincinnati to be the GM, I figure I cant do any worse.

Since the GM is part of ownership, its a tough job to get. As for Marvin Lewis, that defense of his hasn't really caught on well with the Redskins. Perhaps having Ray Lewis was a slight benefit for Marvin.

Lewis was quoted as saying that under their first year with Marvin's scheme, they sucked. but as they came to accept it, and got some nice trades and draft picks, it finally clicked.

the expectations are only hight because of the coaches and all star defense...lewis says that in 2-3 years they will be an unstoppable D.

For some reason, I doubt Redskins ownership and Spurrier have the patience to wait 2-3 years. Also, they had to have 5-11 type seasons in Baltimore to get those picks to help the defense, while Snyder will run everyone out of town if the team goes 5-11.

snyder is commited to spurrier

everyone knew marty wouldn't last long unless he went all the way because spurrier was snyders first choice...marty was just keeping the coaches seat warm.
