Okay, so I'm thinking about finally updating my old laptop (Windows ME doesn't really do it for me anymore, y'know?) and I want to cash in on some bargains while the promise - threat? - of Vista brings down the prices on machines currently running XP ... I was seriously considering switching over to a MacBook so I could do the dual boot-up thingie, but then this little baby caught my eye:
Good screen size (17"), plenty of memory (2048 MB), rewritable DVD drive (that means it can write to CDs too, right?), a TV tuner (that may come in handy someday), dual 80 GB hard drives ... If anyone can recommend this model (or point me towards any other good ones), I'm all ears.
I own a Dell laptop, and I ***HATE*** the tech support service. Every time I need to talk to someone, I'm contacting a call centre in southeast Asia, and while I appreciate their efforts, they're not helpful. It's near impossible to talk sense to them.
