He was having so much fun in that match on Heat, with the whole Calgary crowd going crazy for him. When was the last time we saw Lance do a "C'mon -- gimme more" gesture to the crowd? :-) And they did! I'm glad he got Stevie rather than a rookie.

Bummer to hear...but at least they're keeping a quality guy employed, and I'm assuming if he wanted to go elsewhere and wrestle, they'd give him that opportunity...

I usually watch Heat but I missed it this week because I was watching the playoffs, I'm kicking myself for missing it now.

I just wished Lance would have been given a good and interesting angle/character to work with and run with it. The beginning of the end was the boring angle & the way the portrayed it, then it just snowballed to dancing Lance and trolling for chicks Lance... Call me a ECW-hippie but I would have loved to see Lance & Dawn together one more time. They really were one of those wrestlers/valet duo's that actually looked like the complimented eachother instead of two individuals. I just loved seeing Ultra serious Lance with over the top loud annoying Dawn.

It's strange but I have to agree, WCW really knew how to portray Lance to his fullest. Is her serious? Sure. But in WWE they went with serious equals boring loser. As in WCW went with serious equals focused winner. Guess which character had more success... He even had better lines in WCW. They had this attractive backstage interviewer called Pamala & he was interviewed by her and afterwards she smiled at him and said "Hey you're kind of cute". He looked at her stonefaced and said "In Calgary we don't date, we just wrestle." Which I guess you can take it a couple of ways. But something as minor as that at least portrays him as somewhat important and not a brush-a-side nothing as he was in The E.

I hope the best for Lance, he seems like one of the real good guys & one of the few WWE superstars these days that still keep a somewhat communication open to fans via website. He has talked about enjoying helping the divas train(who would blame him). Does that mean every girl starts punching like Lita(ha kidding)... Here's hoping he has some good success training the OVWers as the latest crop has been less then spectacular and maybe becoming a road agent down the road.

Hehe that's cute, but for me my toast for Lance to be first one out to gate to break up a diva pull-apart fight, remember Lance keep you arms low around their waste, you wouldn't want to get an accidental feel especially on your own sister Victoira ... I wish his WWE fate was better in the past two years. I hope nothing but the best for Lance Storm.

Does this mean that Garrison Cade gets to be "Lance" again?

Yeah I too saw him perform on Heat(and I rarely catch the show) and he had a very good match and looked to enjoy the crowd reaction he was receiving. He was(is) a great perfomer and while this is unfortunate, I hope he finds a niche in this new direction.

I'd say Shamrock was pretty successful with the WWF, holding the Intercontinental title. He main evented a PPV against Shawn Michaels also. Still, from what I've heard, his NWA-TNA work hasn't been anything special and he's leaving now anyway. Oh well.
