Christ almighty that's probably one of the 10 best playoff games I've ever seen.

One little failed rebounding opportunity ruined what was otherwise a perfect night for the Thunder.

How about that home crowd though?! I want to compare it to a college basketball crowd but really it was so much better than that. It looked like the entire crowd was standing for most of the 4th quarter, and like 99.9% of the fans were wearing the designated blue Thunder shirts. And the ovation they gave the home team after they lost was unreal. I have never seen such a classy display in person or on TV. ANYWHERE.

(Of course being a lifelong fan of almost all the Atlanta sports teams and having just been to a playoff game where people were filing out with over 2 minutes left to play and the game's outcome still very much in doubt, you could say I'm just envious.)

Hee. Even though I was rooting for the Thunder (and really don't like the Lakers either), that's hilarious.

The Thunder have nothing to be ashamed of after that series. Considering the Lakers are a veteran ball club and are the defending NBA champions, Oklahoma City gave the Lakers a fight and made LA work pretty hard to advance to the 2nd round.

Oklahoma City has a great possibility of advancing in next year's playoffs; they know what it is like to get the playoffs and as their first test, they faced Kobe and the Lakers. Next year could be bigger and better if they can learn and take something from this regular season and playoffs and apply it as a building block for the 2010-2011 season.

I was hoping the Thunder could pull off the upset but again, they gave LA a fight and lost to last year's NBA champions....congrats Thunder on a good season.

So I am watching my last day of the free NBA package and I want to see Robert Swift and his long, long hair as the Sonics take on the Kings. It's the Kings' home opener so maybe that's the reason, but the announcers were AWESOMELY AWFUL.
