Was Kurt having just about the best time in the world out there tonight? He was so cute, he was having all sorts of fun playing with the crowd & Brock, & even Big Show. That whole thing was so much fun.
And wrestling! We got wrestling! Eddie & Tajiri are great, & the lowrider special of the week is always entertaining. Rey & Matt was very good. Are we heading for Benoit vs Rhyno -- I could get into that. And I'm kinda enjoying Undertaker with the FBI. (I don't remember that paint job on Undertaker's bike from before. Is that new, or did I just not notice it before?)
Just a few down-sides though. This show needs more O'Haire, although he was pretty cute taunting/distracting Mr. America while Roddy & Vince ganged up on Zach. I thought for a while there that we might have a show without her Sableness -- no such luck. The only thing that compensated for no Spanky at all was just how adorable Kurt was being.
A nice amount of fun stuff. (In spite of a relatively low Dirty Thoughts quotient.)
I got nothing for you this week because of the Phillies game last night. From what I read, it sounds great, of course with the exception of no Spanky. But I could tell Kurt was having fun out there, and well, how can I complain about a show with MATT HARDY IN THE MAIN EVENT??!! I don't, that's how. I'm curious to get the ladies opinions on the budding feud between Stable, uh, Sable (sorry, sleepy, lol) and Stephanie. I remember that Steph hasn't had a feud as a face yet, and this might be the time in which she can prove to be an effective face once and for all. Fortunately the show will be on Saturday night, but I'll be out of town (thanks in advance to the bro).
Meh. I'm pretty indifferent to Sable/Steph. It's such a let down that there is no Shane, that I totally can't get into it. And while I have no issues with Steph, I can't Stable. The woman couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
I loooooooooooooooooved the Matt/Rey match. I've noticed on the main board that some people have been mentioning it looked sloppy, but I think it just looked intense.
Kurt was fabulous, wonderful, everything we love him for. I'm so happy he's back.
Even my beau commented on the lack of Spanky this week. They really need to get him into a meaningful feud- and quick. I demand more Spanky on my TV! Although, I heard he has a super-great match with Sean O'Hare on Velocity. Dreamboat city!
Eddie, Tajiri, Angle, Taker--all those guys made it worth watching. ;-) I believe Taker borrows bikes to ride in each city, so he uses a different one each time. Once the owner of the bike got it autographed and sold it on Ebay.
I don't care what they do with Sable, because I leave the room the moment her breasts come on screen. Scary. I did hear some pretty nasty worked shoot commentary from Dad & Daughter, though--apparently Steph wants to work a program with Sable just to get back at her for suing the company. We all know how Steph reacts when anyone tries to get Vince into court to answer for anything--to her, that's just about as bad as hijacking planes and crashing them into occupied buildings. ;P
I must say that consistantly, even when the creative team didn't give him much to work with, Kurt Angle has provided me with the most entertainment I've ever had watching the WWE. You can't hate him, no matter how he'd booked.
