I was home during the afternoon today and was privileged enough...if you could call it that...to see Kurt Angle on "Off the Record" with Michael Landsbrige...or whatever his name is.
Most of the interview discussed his injuries at various times in his career but also dropped some hints to his return to the WWE!!
Apparently Kurt is looking to return to the ring at Summerslam in Toronto and is hoping that several other stars will be doing the same...the UT and Rey Mysterio being two of them. He's been concerned with his neck...of course...and unlike when he was wrestling in the Olympics...he now worries about the future what with his young daughter now playing a prominent role in his life.
He discussed the WM19 match with Brock Lesner and how he was worried whether Brock would be able to take the pressure. He felt as though he carried that match, although Brock was certainly an excellent wrestler, but was still new and impetutious and not as controlled as was probably needed for the situation seeing as Kurt was hurting badly. By the end of the show, he had no feeling in his arm and became a victim of shock shortly after leaving the ring which required medical attention!! Kurt felt that without his help and support, that there would be no Brock Lesner...or I guess there never would have been a Lesner seeing as he's actually gone now. Kurt seemed keen on the idea of younger amateur wrestlers getting involved in the biz and using their knowledge in a way that entertains and can make them some money...although how much money, he was not willing to elaborate on
All in all it was a good interview and I probably missed a couple of segments...seeing as I am home because I passed out at the blood clinic and so my attention span is not what it normally is!! It was a very short timeslot to fully discuss what Kurt has accomplished tho and I was really hoping to hear some more opinions on various subjects...namely how the WWE has changed since he joined up but...alas...it was not to be. Still, an excellent interview...although Michael interrupted more then was really necessary!!

Forget hypocrite, when Shawn superkicked Benoit and signed on the dotted line, the first thing to go through my head was "Now I *KNOW* Jesus wouldn't do that" FurryHippie
So Kurt confirmed that Summerslam will definitely be in Toronto?

Yeah, the whole move towards going full-time the Stone Cold moniker started during the 1996 King of the Ring, if I recall. He started off the tournament with the Ringmaster moniker, but by the semis, they were calling him Stone Cold.
