So if I've got this right, according to an anonymous TNA wrestler who called into Bubba the Love Sponge, Karen Angle and her kids have moved in with Jeff Jarrett. Bruce Mitchell has vouched for this story being true, and Kurt Angle on Howard Stern a few months back said that Karen had left him for a wrestler.
Jarrett was supposed to be at the PPV last night but has been given a forced leave of absence by Dixie Carter, according to Dave Meltzer: "It was not Jeff's decision. It was Dixie's decision. Very complicated issue. In fact, more complicated than anyone would believe."
Tawdry! It's like Edge-Lita-Matt for the middle-aged and drug addicted.

I *strongly* hope so, but checking back it appears the caller was actually "a former TNA employee," which either widens or narrows the field of interesting people. Let's just say it was Petey Williams. | CRZ

Here is an update on the Jeff Jarrett/TNA/Kurt Angle situation. Ever since the mysterious TNA person on Bubba the Love Sponge said that Jarrett and Karen Angle were together, Dixie Carter ordered Jarrett to go home, which has been described publicly as him agreeing to take a leave of absence. At the house show on Saturday night, Angle was telling people that he is going to end up with booking control of the company that Jarrett had and that he won't sign a new contract if Jarrett remains in power. Nobody really know how things transpire from here. Jarrett was booked in segments on last night's show that were either tweaked or removed. The direction of the booking last night was planned before any of this went down as the TVs for the next month were written before the Bubba stuff happened, although everything involving Jarrett obviously has had to be tweaked. Generally speaking, the wrestlers are sympathetic to Kurt Angle on this one aside from those who have naturally close ties with Jarrett. TNA people are playing the tape from Bubba over and over since the guy disguised his voice, attempting to find out who started this mess and made the call. I presume, given that it's wrestling, that they all make up and try and do a television angle out of this.

Unless Karen and Jeff were together when she and Kurt were still married I see nothing wrong. But they seperated I believe?
Not saying that it makes for a healthy and comfortable situation, but wrong? no.

Hey, didn't Kurt say he was going to take Jeff's kids when they were feuding. Hahaha. Who got whose kids now, Kurt? ;)

| #14 Posted on 20.7.09 1723.18 | Instant Rating: 2.39 | I do kinda feel bad for Kurt then I remember he banged anything moved back in WWE including suspicion of being Dawn Marie's Baby Daddy. If Kurt gets in control, it will be Total Nonstop Angel like it was when he first arrived. The MEM storyline continue in a way that it makes Kurt look strong and everybody else weak. I don't see any good of him getting booking power it will be the same as HHH expect he won't take time off for his family which God help I can't believe I am saying this, but something I respect and admire from him.
I almost hoping this is a false rumor, but something tells me otherwise. We will also have to remember that Jeff lost his wife not that long ago and this is probably a rebound/lost my way relationship. I don't expect it to last long and hopefully both families can get their houses in order.

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer wrote a brief note on the www.f4wonline.com message board to say that it was actually Dixie Carter's decision for Jeff Jarrett to step away from his duties in TNA, not Jarrett's.
"It was not Jeff's decision. It was Dixie's decision," Meltzer wrote. "Very complicated issue. In fact, more complicated than anyone would believe."
It should be noted that there was a rumor going around among TNA personnel backstage at last night's show saying Jarrett was suspended.
