This is pretty curious, and it follows Teddy Long's release as well. For one thing, the angle was taking forever to do, and it just wasn't going anywhere. 8 months ago they were hinting at Kristal and Vickie trying to get some sort of assault/harassment suit against Teddy Long. Then it took forever for Vickie to show up again, when she would say she has a new deal going in a couple weeks.
And then they do the heart attack incident with no real follow-up. I guess that was the death of Teddy Long in the WWE and the angle itself.

They're still talking about Teddy Long on camera. They mentioned last Smackdown on commentary that he'd been released from hospital and was at home recuperating. So I wouldn't say the angle is dead yet. If Kristal is gone, though, that does potentially complicate things.
Hm, I just tried posting this, but it didn't go through for some reason, so if this shows up more than once, I apologize.
Anyway, I just saw this listing in TV Guide for the History Channel.
