You gotta be #### me!! Kozlov beat Undertaker clean. What do they see in Kozlov unless he is really over in Europe?

A few other Smackdown results

Caritos beat Miz/Morrison to keep the titles.

Big Show beat Cena with help from Edge

Chavo beat Shelton Benjamin... which ensures Shelton will continue to be buried, if only Shelton could cut a great promo

Vicki Guerrero is getting fatter by the week. She's gotta be over 200 now.

But he beat him clean with a powerslam! A bleedin' POWASLAM!! So sudden and dissapointing. Hopefully this is leading to HBK rising above and beating two unbeaten streaks by Wrestlemania.

Might be the weakest distraction/interference I've seen in quite a while. Edge slid into the ring, rolled out, and stared at Cena. Cena apparently couldn't hear Show amble over close enough to punch him. A weird ending, but an entertaining main event.

I know. That match was shit. Generally UT is good enough to get decent matches out of people, but even he can't pull anything watchable out of Kozlov.

I don't understand the push of this guy. How often does Taker lay down CLEAN? I can't think of more than a handful since he returned as the Dead Man in 2004. I really can't think of anyone less deserving of this type of rub. As I asked in the Raw thread, why does Shawn have to beat this guy to fight Undertaker. It reminds me of an old SNME after Hogan beat Savage at WM 5 and The Anvil said "Savage, if you want Hogan's belt, you have to go through me!" Yeah, right.

Back to my original point, Kozlov sucks.

Have none of you ever watched wrestling before?
Shawn ends Kozlov's streak on Monday, it adds the "can he end another streak?" angle AND the "he beat the guy UT couldn't!" angle to their WM match, and UT overcomes all to end up on top. I would bet $100 that UT pins Kozlov clean to get his win back by SummerSlam.

Yep. Theoretically when Shawn beats Kozlov, it'll be an even bigger accomplishment because Kozlov beat the Undertaker. Plus there are 14 TVs between No Way Out and Mania, so they're stretching out the announcement of Shawn/UT because there's only so much you can do for angles between them once it's booked. I assume we'll get the dream tag match of Taker & Shawn vs. Kozlov & JBL.

All that said, I wouldn't have had Kozlov pin Undertaker because instead I would've had Kozlov go away.

This was the best Colons/Miz&Mo match yet. The Colons are a good babyface team because Primo is great and Carlito gives him credibility he'd never have otherwise. It looks like one of the Bellas is evil and the other is good. It must've been difficult for them growing up.

Cena and Show probably went too long but it built really well by the end. I think the next step is they'll announce Show and Edge as the fake title match for Mania. Basically going the route of Wrestlemania 2000 with Show as Show, Cena as Rock, Edge as Triple H, and Stephanie as Vickie. But the difference is that this year will end up as the rightful singles match instead of a fourway with Show, Cena, Edge, and Ric Flair.

Getting pinned = buried? If anything, Shelton has "buried" R-Truth and Hurricane.

Vicki Guerrero is getting fatter by the week. She's gotta be over 200 now.

I doubt that very much.

Or, have Orton announce that he'll be using his Royal Rumble title shot against Edge at Wrestlemania, so Orton can avoid having to face Triple H. That would be an interesting plot twist.

The Ultimate Opportunist missed the Ultimate Opportunity. Edge and Vickie could have given Cena his rematch right after Big Show knocked Cena out. A quick three count, ha ha, there's your rematch and you blew it! Now, Edge has to contend with Cena AND Show, who could now rightfully lay claim to a title shot.

Poor Shelton and Chavo - theirs was the only match NOT dubbed a Main Event by JR.

As soon as Cena's music hit at the top of the show, I believe I heard JR say something like "as promised, we are delivering..." Cute, considering the upcoming Hardy-Hardy non-match.

Yes, I've watched a few times over the last 30 years. In theory, it is a good story, but I think Kozlov is undeserving of this spot, and that Shawn/Taker doesn't need this kind of build up. It's a huge match on their big names alone. Mr. WrestleMania wanting to end the streak is all they need. Once Kozlov loses to Shawn next week, what good is his win over Taker? It just seems unnecessary to shoe horn in a guy who isn't over, and still won't be after this brush with greatness.

Undeserving of *what* spot? Having the sole shred of mystique surrounding his character taken away in order to hype another, better match? I'd say Kozlov is incredibly deserving of that spot.

And Kozlov's win over Taker is MADE important by Shawn defeating him. Did you not read my last post? Shawn pinning the guy whom Taker couldn't a)positions Shawn as a "streak ender", and b)shows he can beat a guy that Taker couldn't. The goal of all this isn't to get Kozlov over, it's to get the UT/Shawn match even more over. And it's gonna do that.

Shawn Vs. UT needs any extra juice they can muster, especially given the air "seen it all before" hanging around their two title matches. Sacrificing Kozlov's streak in order to add some extra juice makes perfect sense.

I guess I just don't see how this a monumentally boneheaded move as indicated by the first two-thirds of this thread's posts. If anything, Kozlov is actually being put to what limited good use they can make of him.

This is how I saw it. Once I heard of the UT/Kozlov match, I said Kozlov would pin him clena, and possibly, pretty quickly. This would then eset Kozlov up as a potential "threat" to HBK getting the UT match. It would also put some doubt as to who would win because if Kozlov DID beat Shawn, then we would all be wondering if, god forbid, the WWE would ACTUALLY put Kozlov over on the UT at Wrestlemania. Akthough HBK/UT is a foregone conclusion, Kozlov's pin over UT helps the feud big time.

"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

I hated the finish, but lost in all the debate here is the fact that Undertaker carried Kozlov to his best match ever. Triple H stunk up the joint with Kozlov but Taker worked a minor miracle by making the match watchable. I loved every time Taker kicked him in the face. That was a fun match until the end. I'm going to RAW live tomorrow and I'm dreading the possibility of Kozlov upsetting Shawn Michaels.

This was the first time I noticed the Red Square set design for Kozlov's entrance. That looked awesome.

Only Jeff Hardy would get a standing ovation for NOT fighting and walking out on his brother. Weird to see maturity on display and actually receiving respect on a wrestling show. Matt managed to get across his points and I enjoyed him admitting that his career has been pretty mediocre compared to Jeff's (so much for pride in his ECW "World" Title reign), but Matt is still pretty much death on the stick.

I think I was born ten years too early to get into the Miz and Morrison gimmick. I just hate the Miz to an unreasonable degree. But just because I can't relate to M&M's swarthy douchebaggery the way I did to, say, DX a decade ago, doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching Morrison trade aerial offense with Carlito and Primo. That was an excellent match.

I hope that they reverse the stipulation of Miz&Morrison vs the Colons on Raw. I thought that was a very good match and I am still naiively holding onto the dream that the WWE will ever care about the tag division for more than a month at a time.

They had a better match a few months ago on Smackdown before Kozlov's Survivor Series debacle.

I read your post(s), did you read mine? I don't need the angle explained to me, I get it. It's pretty simple. I just don't think it is necessary. I don't like Kozlov, and I don't want him involved in a story that I actually DO enjoy, Shawn/Taker. But if some people enjoy him, or his involvement, so be it. It's just not my cup of tea, but if it is your's, then cheers.

That would be even better. Plus I figure we'll get a Rated RKO reunion tag match on the last Raw before the show.
