Kool Moe Dee: 80's rapper whose biggest hit is also Holly's catchphrase. "How do ya like me now?"
However, there was also a song by, I believe, Toby Keith with the same title. I'm guessing that was the origin of the catchphrase. Because, really, does he strike you as the kind of guy who'd listen to Kool Moe Dee?
I think he was referring to Bob Holly, and not Zed.
"HHH, you should probably do the job here to put RVD over for the good of the company." "Vince, I'm just a caveman! I was out hunting when I fell in some ice and was unfrozen by your scientists. Your future world frightens and confuses me. You say these words like "job" and "put over" and "good of the company" but my primative mind can't grasp these concepts!"---Vince Mcmahon/Unfrozen Caveman Wrestler, Dr. Unlikely 17.9.02
I'll bet if there was every a CRZFAQ, the Holly question would be number one with a bullet.
Tonight stopped being about who is right and who is wrong - it became about two men wanting to prove who the better man is - for YOUR entertainment. And that, my friends, is the credo of SmackDown!"
Holly was "Race Car Driver Bob Holly" he wore red racing spandex with checkered flags n stuff i kid you not it was that stoopid he teamed with 1-2-3skid at a wrestlemania and only got back to being a bit good when he got the hardcore title, hence "Hardcore"

After lurking here for a while, I finally feel compelled to ask: What the HELL is your problem? You act as though every single post is all about you, when in fact, it appears that most people go out of their way to avoid you. (Given your truely unpleasant personality, I'd guess that you experience this phenomena in real life as well.) THEN you act like it just really gripes your ass that people are having conversations.
I've seen this behavior before of course, but never in anyone over the age of six. I can only imagine what sort of living hell your personal life must be, if the only joy you get out of life comes from acting like a jackass on your boyfriend's 'rasslin board.
I can only speak for myself, but I personally find your "Oh everybody, look at ME, look at how much CONTEMPT I have for your petty conversations, although my only purpose in life is throwing tantrums like an ill-mannered child any time it looks like I'm no longer the center of attention" rants to be tiresome. Grow the hell up.

How curious. If you don't want me to act as though "every single post is all about [me]," don't waste time writing a post about me. ME ME ME ME ME ME ME
One-word posts are a waste of time AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE 'CAUSE I SAID SO
HOW YA LIKE ME NOW
The only thing I enjoy more than doing the crossword puzzle is actually finishing it.
Can't you guys find a situation where Kim isn't right to work out your issues towards here?
Because y'all sound like ABSOLUTE MORONS when you're screaming evil bias and unfairness after Frosty made a post that served no purpose at all.
Wait, let me back off that statement. These are reasons to post "fantastic" to an otherwise dead thread: - Inflate your post count - Fall in love with the vision of your own pointless words One More Time - Annoy people who clicked on this thread expecting something worthwhile to be said.
Maybe I live in crazy fantasy land, but TO ME, there's no reason to waste your time, waste my time, waste everyones time by posting for absoultely no reason and SO MANY do that, it makes me GO CRAZY AND HATE THIS BOARD. (Maybe we should strike that crazy part.) And then when someone - someone who obviously has another account here but is FEARFUL OF RETRIBUTION (or people making fun of him for saying such a stupid thing) and had to make a new one just for this occasion - complains about Kim rightfuly mocking stupid stuff, well, you get posts like this.
No undue offense to Frosty, but that was the DEFINING stupid post. While Miknight wasn't on-topic, he/she/it was at least trying to ADD to the discussion; Frosty was all about LOOK AT ME! I CAN POST THINGS! SOMEONE HASN'T (YET) TAKEN AWAY MY PRIVALLAGES! And when I read things like that, a little but persistent voice inside of me goes
SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT UP
(It could be said that people like myself who complain about these things should post more to be an example, but it also could be said that it ain't worth the effort to change the world if you've already got a section of it you can hideout in fine.)
If you're not gonna add something to the discussion (even the guy who did in a really annoying, condenscing and snotty way over in Site Bashing at least ADDED SOMETHING) please GO AWAY AND NEVER POST AGAIN. Or write an ignore function for the Zims so I can save some of my little remaining sanity.
Wow. While probably not the greatest thing in the world to do, I never realized a one word post would become this big of a deal. Either way, I appologize and I'll watch it in the future. Can we all just be friends again now?
I don't really give a shit about the whole "feud" or whatever going on between the ITVR/Subversia/Whatever people and CRZ/BF, but how's about a little Come The Fuck On.

Maybe I live in crazy fantasy land, but when you're referring to a post that you jump on for being one word long and call it a waste of your time... how much time was that again? The millisecond it took to read, or the (apparently lengthy) time you CHOSE to waste by writing a long and scathing commentary on a subject that should have been taken as exactly what it was- a simple, one word post Frosty used to sum up his feelings about what miknight posted. Yes, I am writing this criticicism of your criticism. I do not, however, consider it a waste of my time.
The Mitch response personally seemed out of place, as the whole "every post about you" thing didn't even really fit with what she said, at least where I sit. But you called him out on how he "complains about Kim rightfuly mocking stupid stuff"... isn't that exactly what Frosty did? He mocked a stupid post. I don't think it's exactly fair of you to claim you knew what was going on inside of Frosty's head when he posted that.
I guess I just miss when CRZ and Guru would bitch at the folks here on THEIR board instead of the random talking-down-to from Cubs, seemingly out of nowhere. It's Kim's fight to fight if she wants to, and she fought. She also managed to do it in 6 lines, which is WAY shorter than the manifesto you just cooked up (an obvious waste of your time) in which you defended a dumbass post and insulted Frosty, who has never come across to ME as a guy who likes to inflate his post count, fall in love with his own "pointless" words, or annoy anybody- something you've clearly just succeeded at.
This is the worst case on Wienerville of "bug up my ass leads to overreaction" that I've seen.
I honestly hope I don't offend anybody in the course of this, but I probably will. I have nothing against any of you, and I think you're all great. Really, I do.
There IS a place for one word posts. But I'm not sure what it is, but I don't know that Kim or Cubs are off on their analysis. No they don't take up any time to read, but they are often overtly stupid or pointless, and just serve to bump up post counts. Why post if you have nothing to say?
I don't think it's fair that DJ got singled out here. He seemingly made a snap judgement to reply to a post which really doesn't have much of a point given the discussion going on around it. But he couldn't think of a better way to sum up his reaction than by what I'm assuming was sarcasm.
However, the moral of the story is true. One word posts, or one line posts, are unnecessary 90% of the time. Say something if you have something to say. If all you can think of is a single word, try at least making a sentance, so that you don't sound completely devoid of ideas.
It's unfair of me to pick them out, but then again, I feel compelled to say it. I am bored/annoyed with Feely's one word posts in the wrestling forum. I'm sure he has oppinions, and they may be good ones, but instead he chooses to share only a word. What the hell is the point? They add nothing to the discussion, all they do is put his name up there. I have no problems with his music posts, as they seem well thought out and put together, but why bother muddling up the other boards if you don't have anything of note to say?
While typically I like Ringmistress' posts, I was irked by her "Zzzzz" posts in the No Mercy threads. I get it, you don't care about the show. But the rest of us are trying to discuss it. If you really don't care, how about not posting?
I don't know. Could be that I'm WAY off base here. Maybe everybody loves these posts and thinks they're Way Clever~! I don't. I think Kim was right on the mark to critize it.
No, Ubermonkeys, I don't think that Cubs (or I for that matter) are wasting our time. Message boards are for discussion. Discuss. Don't jack around with one word. If you have something to say SAY it, whatever it is. But if you don't, then why bother posting?
I should have listened to spf2119 about HHH because he is the smartest Wiener around.
Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)
Vikings (1-5) - Well on our way back to 1-15. Badgers (5-3) - Apparently the Motto is now "Wisconsin: Seeing How Many Close Games We Can Lose" Twins (OUT) - Oh well, if we're still around next year... Buffy 7.5 earns a 9 out of 10 because Anya is really damn cool this season. The flashbacks were funny (another musical, Joss?). The continuity from past seasons was tremendous, and just about everything else clicked for me. Plus! Barely any Dawn!
