But, as mentioned before, Jim Paxson is going to ring Zeke's phone and swap picks as part of the Eddy Curry trade. In other words, the Bulls are officially in the Greg Oden/Kevin Durant sweepstakes.
Jim Dolan saw enough "significant progress" to offer Isiah a multi-year extension even though they're only going to see at most a 12-game improvement over Larry Brown's tank job, which was done on purpose. After said extension the Knicks went 3-13, though the only healthy starter right now is Eddy Curry.
The story as usual poor decision making, poor interior defense, worse perimeter defense and the roster just plain isn't very good. Though, they were more exciting, didn't quit in games and Mardy Collins, David Lee (the resident white guy), and Renaldo Balkman do give me hope for the future. I'm still not sure about Eddy Curry yet though. He's basically Zach Randolph w/o the rebounding and the stupidity. Likable guy but he's a liability on defense.
Go ahead. I know some of you have been waiting for the day to bust on my team so just let me have it b/c I think the abuse at the draft is going to be that much worse for us Knick fans. :)

Hee! Anyway, being a Pacers fan I normally like to rag on the Knicks as much as the next guy, but being that we're two games out of the playoffs with three to go, I'm not gonna go there this time. And yes, John Paxson will be trading in that pick and praying to get lucky. Unlike the year where the Bulls got #2 and ended up with Jay Williams instead of Yao Ming, I suspect they wouldn't mind the #2 pick this year. Oden or Durant would be picks Bulls fans could live with
Oh, and as much as I love Durant, and he is awesome, if the balls landed right, and the Bulls got that #1 pick, you look to THE Ohio State University, and the man-child named Greg Oden. Durant would be a totally acceptable consolation prize, but I say Oden is #1.
Good news is this pick is stacked. I wouldn't even mind seeing the Bulls end up at #9 or so and get Roy Hibbert if possible.

They're #7 right now, but that could change to #8 depending on what the Clippers & Golden State do this week. So they'll either face Phoenix or Dallas in the 1st round and get clobbered either way.

After the terrible season we had, at least we don't have to suffer the further indignity of the Pistons wiping the floor with us in the first round! Plus we have like a 0.7% chance of getting the #1 pick in the lottery. "Thank you for calling Smarty Mart. For customer service, press one. For job opportunities, press two. You guys were supposed to WIN today, you freaking jerks. Now we're going to finish #4 (starting from the bottom, that is) instead of #3. I swear, if we get bumped out of the top 3 this year and end up having to give our pick to Phoenix, I'm going to hurt somebody.
