I live alone, and some mid-price range stuff from Wal-mart works wonderfully well for me. I bought a good set about seven years ago, and the teflon is still awesome and is in tact, The only issues I have is that the handles tend to get loose somewhat quickly. However...that's what screwdrivers are for.
