Much like many of the so-called experts, this should be the best series of the playoffs for entertaining basketball.

Will it simply be a case of who outscores whom or will one of the teams be able to defend Peja/Web or Dirk/Finley?

This is one NBA series that I might want to watch!!!

Great offensive teams who think D second.

All that's missing from this match-up is the ABA's old red, white & blue ball

I try to ignore the NBA for the most part (aside from the Cavs) because I find it painful to watch, but I'll actually make a concerted attempt to watch this series.

That's a huge endorsement from me.

And yeah, yeah, I know. Watching the Cavs is painful too.

Kings are toast. They don't have the size for the Mavs.

This series should be a lot of fun to watch. But will this series tire out the winner and leave them easy pickings for the Lakers?

This entire thing we're involved with called the world is an opportunity to exhibit how exciting alienation can be. Life is a matter of a miracle that is collected over time by moments flabbergasted to be in each others' presence. The world is an exam, to see if we can rise into the direct experiences. Our eyesight is here as a test, to see if we can see beyond it. Matter is here as a test for our curiosity. Doubt is here as an exam for our vitality.

What I want to know is:

What with the Kings' asymmetrical shorts?

It is so offputting to my eye.

Gotta love my Spurs getting short-changed there. :)

The kings played well. I dont know about being tired easy pickings for the lakers. The Spurs and Lakers played horrible. If they cant play better then that.......

The Spurs could've stolen Game 1, but they played just as bad if not worse. I think the Mavs or Kings could've blown out either team if they played like that.

The Mavs don't deserve to win this series (and won't) after that debacle yesterday. How do you lose the game on your home court . . . with Webber fouled out . . . with Divac fouled out . . . and with Stoyakovic(sp?) out??

Really, I just want whoever can beat the Fakers to win this series, so if the Kings win, they had BETTER beat L.A.
I can't take another Los(t) Angeles victory parade with Mark Madsen showing how tragically caucasian he is, and Shaq stealing another 70's anthem for his theme song. Somebody has got to beat these poseurs!!!!!

Good lord, is there any LAKER love on this board?

I know it hurts, but no team in the NBA can beat my Los Angeles Lakers in a best of 5 or 7 series.
Please Believe It.

I'd love the Lakers . . . if they got rid of Shaq, and Horry, and Fox, and Jackson, and aw hell, if they got rid of Shaq I'd be happy. I really dislike that guy. Sorry DJ.

After the game, Kobe made some crack about Arenas having no conscience and just merely lobbing the ball up at will. Thank goodness, it was getting to be weeks since the last time Kobe tried to make me hate him even more. - StingArmy
