Perish the thought of me injecting some REAL basketball talk into this forum, but there IS a big NBA game on NBC starting at 1530 (Pacific) for those of you who can handle skipping the Oscar arrivals.

With any luck, the Kings won't choke since they're at home. Knowing them, however..............well, it should be a fun game to watch even if they lose.

I guess Webber is thinking about under-the-table payments, instead of his shooting in the first half.

I keep flipping to the Oscar pre-show on E!, because I want to see Jules Asner's 5 MILLION DOLLAR dress. There's some really rude comment to make here, but I'll pass for now.

Monetary gain is all very well, but it dilutes the tastes of wickedness to a lower level that is obtainable by anyone will an overdeveloped sense of avarice. True and baseless evil is as rare as the purest good - and we all know how rare THAT is." - Acheron Hades, THE EYRE AFFAIR by Jaspar Fforde

I slept through a bit of the fourth quarter but managed to see them blow it at the end.
You know, if Hedo had managed to not turn his two easy points into a turnover and two easy LAKER points...but I guess you can say that about so many plays during that game.

Oh, and also the refs blow. ;-)

It was one of those games where the kings were so close throughout the game... and just couldn't win it. It happens to the best teams. :-)

Hey, at least Atlanta fans showed up to root their team on, unlike a certain team up north. Meanwhile, we get to wait another week for the Cavs' next game. I hope they practice free-throws every day, all week long after last night. That was atrocious....
