So who's Keon going to replace this year?

Fortunate to still have a job?
So who's Keon going to replace this year?
I would imagine he's going to help ensure that Divac (and maybe Pollard) are still around at the end of the fourth quarter during playoff games, so it's not really "replacing" so much as "filling a potential hole."

| #4 Posted on 17.8.02 1902.37 | CRZ, the Kings are my favorite team, but seeing as I live on the other side of the country, I'm kind of curious as to whether Bibby was steady all year long or he is being rewarded (and rightly so) for his incredible postseason run. Was he this good (or anywhere near it) during the regular season?
What a Manuever!

| #5 Posted on 17.8.02 1931.42 | He was solid all season - basically, I would characterise him as "a better Jason Williams" - more steals, more assists, LOTS less turnovers.
Yahoo! still has the season log up - you can see that he's the team leader on assists about a quarter of the time.
Here's his line for last season (Thanks again, Yahoo!)

| #6 Posted on 20.8.02 1544.10 | Instant Rating: 4.52 | Z, What did Bibby's status as a restricted free agent mean, exactly? Of course, unrestricted free agents are able to sign and negotiate with any team that wants them (although only their current team can pay them whatever they want without salary cap restrictions), but what are the restrictions upon restricted free agents? | #7 Posted on 20.8.02 1621.07 | Restricted means another team can make you an offer, but your current team can match that offer if they choose, and you would then have no choice but to re-sign with the current team.

| #9 Posted on 22.8.02 0428.49 | Instant Rating: 7.33 | Bibby and his agent, David Falk, originally sought a deal worth more than $100 million, but the NBA's decreasing salary cap and Bibby's strong desire to stay in Sacramento led to the $80 million arrangement.
You don't hear this every day, a player accepting less than he wants because the team needs him to AND because he wants to stay.
I've always liked Bibby even when he was a Grizzly. Good to see him finally getting the credit he deserves.
