|  #1 Posted on 20.6.02 0255.46 | Sorry: Just ignore this. I found out later that the boxscore on ESPN.com was wrong, and there were actually 29 hits. My mistake.
In the game between the Jets and Broncos, er, Yankees and Rockies Wednesday night, there were 30 runs scored on "only" 21 hits. That is the largest margin I have ever seen between runs scored and safety knocks when there were more runs than hits.
Maybe not so amazing, but I doubt that 9 more runs than hits happens in a game very often.
