Not to pretend I'm a real moderator (I put icons on threads sometimes!), but I think the stated preference is that new topics get new threads. Not that there's anything wrong with discussing Kharma in the Raw thread, but it's totes encouraged to start a separate one.
Not to start every sentence with "not," but...
Anyhoo, I poked around on the Observer board to see if Meltzer had said anything (because I am in unreciprocated three-way love with him and Justin), but he hadn't - the pregnancy thing is just speculation at this point. Some of the boarders there suggested Kharma has a back injury, but there was no source quoted.

Ah. But I didn't consider it a new topic, per se. The Kharma angle happened on RAW and there was already a great deal of discussion about it on the RAW thread. It felt like an extension of the topic rather than a whole new one.
Unlike say, my starting a thread about Drew McIntyre and Taryn Terrell's marriage ending, which is a new topic entirely.
Obviously, I'm no mod, but that is my rationale.

I think this topic may have a shelf life that outlasts the last episode of RAW, but having said that, a repeat is a repeat and XPA lost by however many hours it was. Now, housecleaning out of the way...
Clearly Bryan is being cute by including such a specific amount of time, but I really think that at this early date automatically assuming a pregnancy is premature. No pun intended.
It'll probably come out as something like elevated enzyme levels in her liver.
I was going to guess that she was so sad on Monday because she hadn't been allowed to appear on the PPV for the extra check, but now her absence from Over the Limit seems like it can be explained. We just don't rightly know WHAT that explanation is yet. I bet we'll know within 24 hours, though.
On another tack, looks like there are now ZERO stories currently happening within the Divas Division... unless someone makes the call to artificially extend Layla's turn.
If she is indeed pregnant I'm not sure wwat they could've done to write her out. Can't have someone attack her. Can't have her attack anyone else. All physicality would be on hold. I guess at least this way they've got something to hang her return on, instead of spiriting her away unannounced.

she could have been hit by the same car that hit Show.
There were a bunch of different better ways to get her off TV without that ending most of which are on the Raw thread. I just hope it wasn't some form of punishment to go out there and cry. The image of her crying is going to be the last thing people see of her for almost a year, I doubt that will help her character. I just hope its nothing serious and we see her back soon.

Punishment? For what? Getting pregnant, not that it's been confirmed or amything that is jsut speculation at this point.
I highly doubt she is pregnant, because if she was she'd be gone for more than 9 months, as well she's not just going to pop out the kid and get back into the ring.
We'll have to wait for an explaination as to why she's for as long as she is. I'm in agreement with CRZ< the mention of how long was something 'cute' done to get this kinda of speculation out there. mostly because there really hasn't been any major Diva that had time off because they were pregnant (not counting the horrible horrible pregnant 'story lines' that we've had)
If she's more than four weeks along then around nine months is possibly about the time she'll be missing. Who knows how quickly she'd get back on the road?

Dawn Marie and she was fired a few months later. I don't know if she is preggers or not. I could actually see that story being written to punish for being out 9 months when they just signed her earlier this year. People have gotten punished for less. Amos is right if she is pregnant it depends how far along she is in the pregnancy to determine when she comes back. For all we know its a back injury or the liver. Either way, its a shame, because she is probably one of the few people to get this division back to being watchable again.

Or! She's pregnant and expecting her to take any kind of bump whatsoever would be grossly negligent. It seems odd to think they don't care about what happens with Kharma given that she's been booked totally differently to every other Diva for the past seven years.

No, they don't care about the division in general.
Kharma's booking is sort of similar to Beth Phoenix a couple of years ago, when she was the Destroyer of the Divas division and would smash Kelly, Maria, and Candice every week, until Melina took her on, failed to beat her, but turned face for a couple of years because of it.
Kharma was just being presented as more of a monster. And then she cried.

Kharma hasn't even had a match yet, or a bump yet, so it's too soon to have her one-upped and selling for anyone even if the Kharma story is being paused for a year. That's assuming this is, say, a back injury and she could've taken bumps, which, maybe not. If this isn't the political kiss of death then they should just start the angle over at step 1 next year and do the whole thing over again. Kelly/Kharma is the female Rock/Cena.
