Not sure if anyone outside of Boston is aware of this, but apparently a teenage Kevin Millar doing his best Springsteen impression is the talk of the town. It's become the 2003 Rally Monkey on the scoreboards at Fenway.
"We have to fight back. But we can't fight like they do. The Right's entertainment value comes from their willingness to lie and distort. Ours will have to come from being funny and attractive." -Al Franken
I saw this on the scoreboard while sitting in right field in Fenway last Saturday. Hilarious. Too bad the eighth inning rally fell short. Very appropriate with Millar having a good year and Springsteen coming to town. Sure beats the stupid monkey.
Names including Alex Rodriquez, most notably, along with Gio Gonzalez and others. At some point, we've seen the last of Arod playing professional baseball. If the Yankees can find a way to void his contract, this may be it. http://espn.go.
