| #1 Posted on 7.9.02 0419.45 | Okay, I've actually met her, and only recently found out that she's a Grammy winning country singer. Yes, I am dumb. However, I know her voice is good, but I haven't heard one of her songs. Is there anybody out there who knows her stuff? What should album should I pick up, or what individual songs should I download?

| #2 Posted on 7.9.02 0935.21 | As I'm not a big Kathy Mattea fan myself, there's not much I can give you in the way of personal recommendations. IMHO her best single was "Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses", while her best overall album (again, IMHO) was 1994's Walking Away a Winner. For more info on Ms. Mattea I would direct you to her official web site (which you can access if you Click Here). I would also suggest you check out her page at Amazon.com (Click Here to go there). The Amazon.com site has a couple of free downloads along with her discography and a selection of thirty-second clips of many of her songs (not to mention a few customer reviews to help guide you in your selection; just click on "All albums by this artist" and then click on the individual album titles for clips and reviews, and yes, I am that old that I still call them albums and not CD's). Hope this helps.
