My dad was more of a fan of his than I was. I keep confusing him with the guy who was on V. (Edit, I confuse him with Richard Herd)

I can't remember a time when there were so many celebrity deaths in such a short span.

Richard Herd? That dude was on "T.J. Hooker!"

I have to admit, this was one I thought had already passed on.

Thank you! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who confused the two.

Sad to see him pass away, but it's nice to see that he lived a long life.

I also admit that I was kinda surprised that he was still alive.

As far as I can tell, his last performance was as Jed Bartlet's priest in the West Wing episode Take This Sabbath Day. Not a bad way to go out, and I had no idea he was almost 90 when he did it.

Did you catch where Karl Malden is from?

Michael Jackson (and me too) are also Garyites.

suddenly, I don't feel too well

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I'll always remember Malden as the host of one of the first episodes of "Unsolved Mysteries". They profiled the Unabomber and D.B. Cooper on that episode, and I was scared for weeks afterward that I would be randomly blown up (watching the show alone in the dark at age 11 didn't help).

He was married to the same woman for SEVENTY years. Amazing.

They certainly had Newman/Woodward beat, as far as longevity.

I finally caught up on this episode just in time to watch the next one in 15 minutes and it might've been my favorite. I love the Mark Waid era of Flashes, with all 4 of them (and Max Mercury, etc. etc.) running around, and I was a huge Impulse fan.
