I keep confusing him with the guy who was on V. (Edit, I confuse him with Richard Herd) I can't remember a time when there were so many celebrity deaths in such a short span. AIM: # 4 Posted on 1.7.09 2005.19 | Instant Rating: 3.74 Sad to see him pass away, but it's nice to see that he lived a long life. I also admit that I was kinda surprised that he was still alive. The best part of waking up is not Folgers in your cup, but knowing that Chuck Norris didn't kill you in your sleep.

Not a bad way to go out, and I had no idea he was almost 90 when he did it.

Y!: # 6 Posted on 2.7.09 0753.56 | Instant Rating: 4.83 Did you catch where Karl Malden is from? Originally posted by imdb Born to a Czech mother and a Serbian father in Chicago, on March 22, 1912, Karl Malden didn't learn how to communicate a single word of English until he was in kindergarten. Raised in Gary, IN, a medium-sized steel town, Malden--like many other young men in Gary--got a job in a steel factory when he finished school. Michael Jackson (and me too) are also Garyites. suddenly, I don't feel too well (edited by AWArulz on 2.7.09 0854)
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

They profiled the Unabomber and D.B. Cooper on that episode, and I was scared for weeks afterward that I would be randomly blown up (watching the show alone in the dark at age 11 didn't help).

He was married to the same woman for SEVENTY years. Amazing. They certainly had Newman/Woodward beat, as far as longevity. I'm square (6'7 X 6'7).
A guy at school had an Emergency! show lunchbox, I was so jealous. I am surprised it went three years, though it was pretty popular. I'm more of an "Adam-12" fan though.
