So Kane is out having surgery that will take him off TV just when he was getting his first mega-face push. Okay, sucks for him.
Raw has just lost both Nash and Kane. We said from the beginning that Raw was thin on Main Event talent. Who steps up?
I'm not someone who has signed petitions to get Booker T a title or anything, and I know loyalty counts in the WWF, but Bradshaw?
This is the time for Booker T to turn face. Austin is getting tired, Flair seems on the verge of turning heel. Is RVD going to be our big-time Raw face?
What do you think, will Booker step up to the plate? Will the WWF LET him step up?
I had thought a fued with Angle would be the way to get him on the face side, but that won't happen with the split roster (unless he maybe does a run-in during the Angle/Edge match- but I wouldn't recommend that).
Bradshaw needs to lose to Hall or the nWo is dead. Booker should be the one to pick up the slack and take on the nWo. He'd get face pops for destroying X-Pac. He has HISTORY with the nWo (does that MATTER?). It just seems like something the fed HAS to do with Kane out (even though I would see it as a better choice even with Kane in).
I agree with you. I've felt from the beginning that the main people fighting the nWo should be the ones who've had previous history with the nWo. So you can imagine my relief that Flair has taken a very hard stance with them.
Booker T would make a great face, and indeed, I see some very early indications that the WWF might eventually go that route. They're allowing him to be himself-- which, to say, is a guy with one hell of a sense of comedic timing, but also someone who can kick some ass.
I'll actually go a step further on this one and add The Big Show to the list of WWF Superstars who should start having an angle with the nWo. Although in the case of The Big Show, I don't think it would be unreasonable to have him actually re-join the organization.
Another RAW Superstar who can benefit from a program with the nWo is another former member, Curt Hennig. Hennig's career has gone nowhere since the brief angle he had with Austin upon his return at the Royal Rumble. And part of the reason could be attributed to the fact that the nWo debuted in the WWF only a month after Hennig returned.
I would add Diamond Dallas Page to this list, but he's a SmackDown Superstar, so the chances of him feuding with the nWo (and he must feud, not join) are extraordinarily slim.
I agree with you about the fact that Bradshaw must lose to Hall at Backlash. No way should Hall lose that match.
“If there's anything I hate, it's a loud-mouthed Canadian with blonde hair who dresses like a rock star... except you, you're cool.”

The only reason they signed Hennig was to screw over the WWA. They had no intentions of giving him any kind of push, nor do I see them giving him any kind of push going forward.

I'm sorry, the pops for Henning at the Rumble and in my living room (by people who remembered him because they hadn't watched wrestling for years!) was way bigger than I would've guessed. He managed to be one of the last men eliminated in the Rumble, and made a great show of being there. It's the WWF's fault they didn't take advantage of it and buried him. Ahhhh, whatever.

The WWF is not quite perfect...
"You gotta hate somebody before this is over. Them, me, it doesn't matter."
"Hate, who do I hate? You tell me."
"Who do you love?"

Can you imagine how everyone would scream bloody murder if they tried to push Hennig? Im guessing that they have Perfect around to help school the younger guys.
Booker T is wayyyy overdue for his face run. They HAVE to let him get some quality wins. And he definitely has to go over Austin at some point. Yes I know that may be a pipe dream but its time for Austin to put SOMEBODY over again. He did it for Jericho and HHH last year, however tainted those may have been, but he can give Booker the supreme rub by putting him over. I can dream cant I?
Dont cry tears for Kane yall, This injury is time for him to convincingly lose the Mask for good and finnaly get over.
You know youre old when you try to convince some kid that was born in the freakin 80's that Samus Aran could whip Lara Croft's cave dwelling ass. Honestly, has there ever been a cooler weapon in the history of video games than the Screw Attack?
I see a Booker Praise Topic, so I must include... THE HAND.
And yes, he is WAY overdue for a face turn. I think the only reason for the heel turn was to get more over and get people to notice him.
As far as Kane goes, I think he still needs the mask. It's the one thing that separates him from behing "just another big man." Plus, now that he's seemed to have developed a personality - all the "Kane-anites" will be marking the hell out for him when he returns.
It's true, the NWO needs a few big-time wins FAST, as well as a situation/angle that actually makes them believable ad "WWF poison", to prevent the group's nuts from being chopped off completely.
I also agree that Booker is overdue for a face turn. HOWEVER, don't be so quick to rule out Bradshaw as an uppercard contender. He's better than many on the stick, and has solid in-ring ability. The only thing is, he needs-needs-NEEDS a new look before anyone is going to take him seriously in a semi-main or main event. Cause as he is now, he comes across as an ex-jock at his ten-year reunion getting in pointless drunken fistfights.
I really dont think the NWO can be saved nor does it deserve to be. If you have two guys in a stable and one of them is X-Pac you aint a threat to no one. Wait I take that back, X-Pac is a proven main event money draw....LOL. I dont even see the point anymore. They have no power or influence, so why should anyone care about them? Stone Cold whups their asses whenever he feels like it, so how can they convince some to join them?

That's reason enough for them to recruit UT.
"You hate Austin, we hate Austin... wanna go kick his ass with us?"
nWo has, for a long time, been about strength in numbers. With Nash out, they need more members. Of course, if they start recruiting heavily, Raw will turn into Nitro... I don't think we want that.
STOP BASHING X-PAC. People LOVE seeing him get his ass kicked. There is NO arguement against that. Anyone who kicks X-Pac's ass gets over with the fans (Hello? Shane? Once he stopped fueding with X-Pac he had to resort to Foley tactics to get over).
For some reason, every time I see X-Pac in Kane's mask, I think of Alexander from ST: TNG.
I just cant see Undertaker running with X-Pac... it just doesnt work for me. And why should I stop bashing X-Pac when its so goddamn easy? Also I cant see Undertaker joing NWO because that would put him against Kane, and the WWF, to their credit, has been keeping them away from each other since UT went heel. Of course him joining would solve Takers entrance music problem.
