FOX has pulled "Justice." I'd say that I missed it, except I never watched it. I also liked it better when it aired the first time and it was called "The Jury." ;-) It's being replaced by encores (you and I call them "reruns") of "House."

B&C (broadcastingcable.com) says they're expected to finish production on their 13 episode order, but who knows when/if they'll be aired. I still think they have five episodes of "Skin" (another BRUCK masterpiece!) lying around after cancelling it after three shows...

I never saw it either, but I remember hearing a radio promo for it. All I could think was, "That is the most generic name for a show I may have ever heard." Naming a drama 'Justice' is like naming a sitcom 'Joe' and just assuming people are going to tune in.

They'll probably finish production for the DVDs they'll get out of it (Previously unaired episodes! The complete series in one set!). Got to find some way to make that money back.

The thing about Justice is that it was all gimmick. The gimmick is what got me to watch the show in the first place, but it really seemed like more of an anthology show than a serial legal drama. Very little characterization for the recurring leads, and truthfully not enough likable characters.

I actually just got rid of the season pass for it on my TiVo, after skipping to the end of the show the past couple of weeks to see if the jury was right or not.

You say gimmick, I say procedural. :-)

That's the kind of show it was supposed to be. In the vein of L&O and CSI, you weren't supposed to care about the characters (at least not in the beginning). Victor Garber was cool, but that's a given. Bruck's win-loss record with TV is kind of shady, ain't it? Maybe it's just FOX.

The move to Mondays most unfortunately spelt the demise of Vanished, which will end it's 13 ep run in December looking UP at Smackdown in the Nielsens.

I watched a bit of it when it was on Wednesdays, but lost it when it moved to Mondays. Victor Garber was the only interesting character on the show, IMO.

A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races were made by a different studio. The latter two were MGM productions; I don't remember what studio the other movies were made for.
